All they did was Bill me and got continuances until the judge was so mad she gave me a worst deal then was initially offered on my first day in court all they care about is their money not your defense

Jennifer represented me in court while Dallas took care of all of the DOL filings. Not only did Jennifer work diligently going back and forth with the prosecutor to negotiate the terms of a reduced charge (reckless driving) but they answered all of my questions promptly, guided me through the preliminary court processes, court requirements and court appearances. Throughout the process they sent letters, emails and called me personally to update me on the current status of the case. Being in the legal system is confusing and intimidating. Cooney and Associates did a good job setting expectations and a great job communicating with me ahead of time. KEEP SEARCHING - I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. The only thing he does right is gets along with his collegues and can answer his phone when you call. Besides that you are OVER PAYING and getting little in return for your money. I normally do not write reviews but my experience was so horrible, I am trying to save anyone out there that may have found themselves in a poor situation as well. You honestly will be better hiring a public defender if you are eligible for one. They will fight harder for you than this guy. I was recommended to the Cooney office by mutliple friends and if I ever find myself needing an attorney... I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

I Hired Jennifer to represent me in a DUI case and had the book the book thrown at me, not one fine, charge, or penalty was reduced in any way, and out of her 2-3 other cases that were in court that day I was only one to plead guilty to the actual charge. I wondered afterward how close defense and prosecution were considering my sentence was over 60 days and there were other cases involving multiple charges and more than one DUI which were reduced. Anyway don't get thrown under a bus, find honest ethical representation.

I hired Brandon Kidd (one of the Cooney associates) to represent my girlfriend. Because of a plea deal, he did not actually have to represent her at all. That didn't stop him from keeping the over $4000 he was paid though he never filed any paperwork in her case. He almost never answered her phone calls either. Be careful folks.
