Doesn't actually do pro bono cases for clients with lawsuits depending on ethnic background.

I really don't know what to say. I went there once, was told to come in. Wasn't able to be seen. Come back maybe a month later with an appointment that I had to confirm over the phone, and they tell me I didn't confirm via text, when there was nothing to confirm in their texts. Waste of gas, they would not see me. Was given an appointment over the phone, and just now was told they had to cancel me. This is ridiculous!!

tacoma probono is the best law firm in the N.W. i have been to court 4 times in the last year, as the defendant , against a slumlord , the attourneys that was assigned to me , where professional and straight to the point , all 4 complaints have been dismissed, and i am confident the 5th one will as well , i would recommend tacomaprobono to all the people that need a high priced attorney and cannot afford one , thank you tacoma probono ,

I thought this place helps low income people. I need help with a garnishment from a local car company that sold me a car that the engine blew 3 weeks after purchasing. After an attorney called me, (which sounded 80 yrs old and confused) he was no help, told me I could file a form that I have no idea about. I explained I had a dv victim history and was very unsympathetic to that. If I had $ I could hire an attorney to represent me. I didn't know they won't represent you and just give you advice to represent yourself. I could have saved time and googled the advice myself. I'm sure this is a non-profit that gets federal $ so they get paid regardless if they actually help people. The court system and probono are both a joke.

These people earn money by sitting and doing nothing. I went there asking for help and I was outside in the cold. I waited for them to open the door. A blonde white woman arrived. She opened the door. She told me to wait outside and call on the intercom. I did and she told me no. He could attend to me and that he would return at 2 pm I had already read that they do this and I did not want to continue wasting my time if you need a lawyer you will have to pay or defend yourself in court if there is a fair judge they do not help anyone if a public entity with respect See this, I hope I put these people to real work and they don't earn money without doing anything. Esta gente se gana la plata sentada sin hacer nada fui alli pidiendo ayuda y estuve afuera pasando frio espere que abrieran la puerta llego una mujer blanca rubia ella abrió la puerta me dijo que esperara afuera y llamara por el intercomunicador lo hice y me dijo que no podia atenderme y que regresara a las 2 pm ya había leído que hacen esto y no quise seguir perdiendo mi tiempo si necesitas un abogado tendrás que pagar o defenderte en la corte si hay un juez justo ellos no ayudan a nadie si un ente publico con respeto ve esto espero ponga a esta gente a trabajar de verdad y no se ganen el dinero sin hacer nada. No pierda su tiempo aquí nadie va ayudarte son personas incrédulas que no ayudan a nadie

I called with a serious civil rights violation case and they called me today 4/29/2024 to take all of my information and then told me that they have no lawyers to speak with me and that they wont be scheduling me an appointment. These people seem like monsters. The phone was so distorted I couldnt hear most of what she was saying and she had to say everything twice. Run away from these fake volunteers. Seems from their questionnaire like they only help illigal immigrants and not law abiding citizens as it does reference illigals in the form process.

Recently I found myself in a situation I wasn’t expecting, thankfully after some research and a referral I was connected to Tacoma ProBono. Thankfully!! My attorney through them has been so amazing, very empathetic, & always very caring. He is all around a great man with a great passion for helping his community & it shows by the work that he does! His name is S. Ashraf Meer & if you find yourself needing any kind of assistance, in housing court, ask for him! He definitely has been so amazing. Thank you again. For all your hard work and dedicated time!!

Mr. BRIAN NEUHARTH was AWESOME. I couldn't thank him enough or put it in words how to Thank Him but I am FOREVER GRATEFUL, BLESSED and THANKFUL to have him as my ATTORNEY and to Represent Me as his Client! Again. I would rate this place a zero if it was an option. Total waste of my time. They don’t return calls and have terrible communication. Have tried working with them for an entire year always getting the run around. I believe I have actually talked with someone one time and two email responses in a year which is why I decided to I was done trying and writing a review. The last I hear they were getting back to me when they had someone available. It’s been months now. Don’t waste your time, this place is no help at all.

Set up an appointment with the secretary here, who said that it was no guarantee that the attorney that would contact me could help, but that they would try. After a month of waiting, I received a confirmation message about the appointment (5 days prior to the appointment). Then, I received another message, telling me not only could the scheduled attorney not help me , but that NO ATTORNEY there would/could. No apology, no guidance... Nothing! The worst part, is I detailed my entire (probate) situation with the secretary who scheduled the meeting. Also, the confirmation message was a joke.
