Amazing, down-to-earth attorneys! I would highly recommend this firm to handle any and all of your family law needs. Mr. Mayo and his assistant Jill are truly the dream team. Worst law firm ever. There was absolutely zero to no communication whatsoever. I did my first consultation in January and nobody reached back with me with a update on my case until October and that's me having to call them and see what was going on with it. They also emailed my ex documents that were for my eyes only. I never got the feeling that they actually knew what was going on in my case. I highly do not recommend!

Would not recommend this law firm to assist with a divorce. Communication from my lawyer was horrible and at no point did I feel they understood my case at all. I had a very simple situation as far as divorces go and my lawyer struggled with even the basic information of my case even after months of representation. I tried to find alternative representation multiple times but due to a number of circumstances I was stuck with this law firm. In the end, I feel my lawyer did not have my best interest in kind and was just wanting to get the case over with. My ex spouse received everything they wanted largely due to my lawyer not understanding my situation and not arguing for me on my behalf, even after I presented them with very detailed outlines regarding issues. My case ended last year and I still am depressed and frustrated with the poor representation I received from this law firm.

Use any other law firm. They will be happy to take your money but are horrible communicating. Many documents were not sent to me until I asked why something was happening or results of what I had to do. Things didn't seem to make sense like there was more to the story than I was getting. You have been warned. I wish I would have looked at their reviews better before using them.

When my granddaughter needed an attorney immediately, she learned of Bighorse & Associates at the very last minute on the evening prior to when some action had to be taken in a divorce matter. The attorney in question is David Mayo and I was shocked when told we would be meeting him at 6:30 the next morning at his office. Mr. Mayo met with us for hours, drew up the necessary papers and had them taken over to the court that very same day. Mr. Mayo has been very professional throughout the process of my granddaughter's legal matters and I highly recommend not only him but the Bighorse law firm. On one occasion, when he had a conflict in schedule, another attorney stepped in immediately for him without a hitch. He is fair, his fees are comparable with the going rates of today and he is very personable. He isn't your ordinary arrogant attorney; he is down to earth and really cares about his clients. He has done an excellent job in the handling of my granddaughter's legal matters.

By far the best choice for lawyers in Tacoma. I’ve been working with David Mayo for over a year now and he really doesn’t mess around. His wife Amber Bighorse is also super helpful and knowledgeable. They continue to help me through one of the most difficult times in my life and I’m so glad I am able to work with them.

Too much to say about my terrible experience, communication couldn't be worse. I've spent well over 10k and still not done, only 1 day in court .... run
