After experiencing two DUIs within a six-month period, following a particularly challenging year, I found myself in a difficult situation, especially considering I had a prior offense from 6.5 years ago, just shy of the seven-year mark. In Washington state, the law mandates a minimum of 30 days in jail for a second offense and at least 90 days for a third. However, thanks to Dan and Albie, I have been presented with alternative sentencing options that allow me to keep my job and remain with my children.
