Attorney Bottimore represented me for my Establishment of Parenting Plan. I appreciate her knowledge, compassion, and excellent communication skills. Attorney Bottimore gave me the strength to rise above and reach effective co-parenting. Bottimore & Associates proved to me there is lightness on the other side of darkness. I know firsthand Attorney Bottimore is a great Family Law Attorney. Her intelligence, patients, and compassion shows. She does not put up with non-sense or Attorney’s over litigating. I was referred to B&A by LegalShield for the handling of my friend's estate upon his passing. The positives I will mention are: 1) The probate process was indeed opened and (I think) closed with the Washington State Court System. (It has been over two weeks, and I have still not received any correspondence from the legal team to confirm that we're finished. I am acting purely on assumption.) 2) The charges that were exceeding the escrow deposit were waived "as a professional courtesy." I have received no further explanation, but I appreciate this gesture given the frustration that working with this firm has brought to an already painful time of my life. I hired a legal team because I was looking for assistance in undertaking the task of being executor of an estate (something I hadn't done before.) Unfortunately, the staff of Bottimore & Associates was extraordinarily un-helpful with only one exception. I was still very much on my own for this process, and largely felt utterly lost. Had it not been for the support of friends and family, I would have been unable to complete this arduous process. This firm appears to be going through an extraordinary amount of staff turnover. Nearly every time I reached out, I spoke with a different person and was informed that the previous one had left, and the new staff member had no familiarity with my case. Emails and phone calls that I made to the firm frequently went unanswered for weeks, or even months. Each attempt I made to establish communication via email was billed at $150 under the line-item of "Reviewing client questions and concerns" despite those "questions and concerns" only rarely being answered. Approximately halfway through the process, I was connected to an associate attorney who was helpful, empathetic, capable and responsive. Had the rest of my interaction with the firm been through Ms. Duggan, I would be leaving 4 stars, or even 5. She was clear, concise, kind, and was clearly an expert who had no hesitation to give me direct answers. Without her help, this probate process would have likely been mishandled or even be still on-going. Unfortunately, like so many other people, Kelley also left the firm and circumstances returned to the disappointing state they began in. :( Other notable issues that I had during this process that, frankly, shocked me included: 1) Being given a document to sign that stated that my friend's estate was below a threshold amount under penalty of perjury, *before* I had permission to access my friend's finances. 2) Being given a closure statement to sign where the line-item for remaining outstanding attorney fees was *blank*. 3) Having a "spearphishing" email come to my email address (and apparently, several other clients') masquerading as official firm correspondence with a suspicious download link. After 20 months of work, I regret that I cannot in good conscience give Bottimore and Assoc. anything more than 3 stars. Had some charges not been waived, I would have given them 2 stars. I hope that other clients have better experiences than mine, but for my part I will be taking my legal inquiries elsewhere in the future. I fully believe that my experience may be the result of the firm going through a difficult transitional period, but subjectively it resulted in an awful experience for me.

The BEST attorney and team!!!! They will listen patiently to everything ypu have to say and fight hard for your rights!!! For sure the 1 team you would want on your side!

An excellent attorney when you need bankruptcy help in a hurry,and your barely treadiing water. At age 65, bankruptcy was not even a thought in my retirement bucket list a myriad of problems to be negotiated. Mr. Smith and his staff and associates were very kind and helpful as I was quite uncomfortable in this experience. They assured me that I wasn't alone and everything would be okay. Now, 5years later life is good again I still have my home thanks to friends, family and a good and kind attorney.
