She charged me $5000 for some email exchanges and when we went to court she didn't fight for or even request any of the requests I had hired her to fight for in my custody case. Her facebook is very unprofessional and she bragged about drinking the night before my case. Bad lawyer bad person.

Tarah was assigned to me for a contempt motion but I ended up hiring her to fight an unethical opposing lawyer. Without her I would have been railroaded by opposing council from a big name firm. Tarah knew all the laywer's tricks and fought for me and my kids. It's taken almost 2 years but there's an end in sight and Tarah has been worth EVERY penny!!

I have been around some bad people throughout my lifetime, but Tara Wagner is the most atrocious human we have ever associated with. She treated my wife like a dog and made her feel awful about herself. She would yell at her and degrade her for asking simple questions. It reminded my wife of the abusive relationship she was in prior to me with her daughters father. Tara has major anger issues and extreme bouts of rage when she doesn't get her way or you annoy her. I am not surprised at all by her negative reviews on here stating that she is a narcissist and that she is being investigated. I do find it astonishing that she has not had her license revoked yet, but I have no doubt in my mind especially with all of these horrendous reviews that she will. Narcissistic people make great attorneys. The one review states that she is a "master of deception". That's exactly why narcissists make great attorney's. Do yourself and your mental health a big favor by avoiding this very horrible human.

We spent tens of thousands of dollars and she did nothing, just kept billing us. Rude, unprofessional and grossly incompetent. Found another attorney that did more for a fraction of what Tarah stole from us.

Tarah Fidler, Verib is the most UNPROFESSIONAL attorney ever encountered. Thank goodness she showed her colors right away. She was an appointed attorney, But that should not have mattered on how you treat a case and individuals. Read the review back in December 2018 I wish we would have looked at the reviews prior to the meeting, you will see I am not incorrect, There are some similarities, but we were fortunate to have seen who she was prior to giving her the case, Thank God. She would not even look at the documents my son was told to bring, which were pertinent to the case, it was like she had already had her opinion of him before we arrived. I was not allowed in the meeting which should have been our 1st clue. I have been to appointments with friends and family members in the past and I was never told I could not attend or go back for support. Especially when it was ok with the client of the attorney. In this case not only was it ok but I was a major witness which involves the safety of children.
This is Important!!! Never give any attorney any information prior to meeting them 1st. It was like she had already communicated with the other party prior to our meeting, copped an opinion which no matter what was said or given it would not have mattered, and She was to be my son's attorney???
Not any more, He asked for another Attorney...
This is very alarming and concerning. Reading the other review, OMG! just the brief encounter with Tarah we had I can definitely believe that review. I was not in the meeting but before and after. Tarah was not professional, She definitely displayed attitude before the meeting and it was even worse after with her voice raised as we were getting ready to leave.
A formal complaint was filed.
It was not a good experience, very disappointing :( :(
My son really was hopeful and in need of her help, Truly SAD!

Upon hiring Tarah I had high hopes because I have so much supporting documentation, and she sold herself as a go getter, aggressive attorney.!Not only did she never allow my cases or documents to be shown in court but she proved to continually unethically handle my case. Many large mistakes were made that proved to damage my case. One issue was she never managed my case well. Deadlines were missed, opportunities to respond to declarations were missed, and recently 5 days before court she admitted she had no clue we were supposed to attend, and couldn’t find out what the hearing was. She couldn’t advise on how to handle simple tasks such as paying a civil penalty, and let opposing counsel dictate moves made in our case out of lack of competence. All of this proved to be highly detremental to my case, also creating severe lasting effects on my children and family. She doesn’t bill ethically, she over charges and will bully you to where you feel as though you must pay and comply or she will drop you. Don’t bother with a payment plan option. She doesn’t honor those either! She will make you pay the full amount monthly threatening to withdraw if you don’t. She was constantly on vacations which created her paralegals handling and filling out legal documentation that should be at the very least overseen by an attorney. Things were never overseen by Tarah, so big mistakes were made. Tarah will make you panic about situations that shouldn’t even be an option. I was told numerous times I would be going to jail and plan on losing my kids however there was never proof in allegations against me. Tarah just didn’t know how to handle my case. Tarah doesn’t know how to represent anyone with an outside of the box situation, or if opposing counsel is good at their job. Those situations cause her to freak out and will cause issues. She does not know king county’s court system so don’t let her fool you. Tarah and her office continually filed paperwork incorrectly regarding my case. I was even forced to pay to serve the other party multiple times because they were filing with the court incorrectly. Tarah withholds paperwork regardless of it being detrimental to your case, and to you personally. She has cost me so much more money than should have been allowed due to so many mistakes and never pleaded with the court regarding my financial position. I cannot tell you how many times I had questions and she was out to lunch, or out at a bar from noon or so on for the rest of the day. If you do seek other representation she will purposefully withhold your file to create more damage to your case, and additional costs out of her own anger. Save yourself the headache, heartache, and drama and find someone else! She flat out told me she couldn’t handle my case prompting me to seek other counsel. In one of her infamous freak outs she told me over the phone I can’t dig you out of this hole, your daughter screwed you. There was never a hole to be dig out of had Tarah been a competent attorney who knew anything about domestic violence, and how to protect clients. Retaining Tarah seriously affected my work and career. I was constantly made to come in to her office at the drop of a dime for paperwork or a signature, or I was told she wouldn’t represent me. That cost me money for those days, also causing clients to leave and seek services I provide elsewhere, so the loss was exponential. Retaining Tarah has lead to serious emotional damage and trauma to my family due to her continued lack of confidence and competence.

After our initial meeting I knew this was a great fit for me. Once we began the process she always new where we needed to go and how to get there. She is TENACIOUS! Tarah fought for me and for what was right right from the get-go. I was extremely happy with the process and do not know where I would be without her. She will fight for you!

i'm sure i'm not unique in that my ex-husband turned into a 12 year old during our divorce and i was coming out of my skin. tarah pulled off what i thought was impossible: she helped me settle my divorce at mediation. her ability to predict the other party's moves and advise me accordingly was invaluable. divorce is notoriously expensive, upwards of $10K in a simple case - i paid much less than that over the entire 9 month ordeal thanks to tarah's skills. her genuine caring and willingness to listen to me scream, cry, and complain was priceless. i recommend her to every single person i can, even in king county - she navigated the courts here like she practices in king county every day.

During many years of dealing with an ex-spouse with a child involved, I had used multiple attorneys for various reasons. Some are just not a good fit. Tarah Verib came recommended from a friend, and immediately upon our initial meeting I knew I had made the right choice. Tarah was very straight forward with me and followed through on all aspects of my case. She is prompt, accurate and sincere in her practice. I was treated with respect and dignity throughout this arduous process. I highly recommend her to anyone facing the legal system in family law.

I was honestly pleased using Tarah as my attorney. Back in 2012 when my separation started to my divorce ended in 2013. She did everything to get myself and my kids back home. She met every filing deadline on time and was very knowledgeable of military law. Her services are great and I had no problems. My family are pleased to have had her as my attorney.

Do NOT use this attorney. She screws up cases, misses filing deadlines, doesn't file documents, charges for meetings that never happens, and charges the client for her screw ups, including court time, and charges clients for motions for sanctions that are filed against HER as the attorney (all while blaming her assistant). She is perpetually out of the office, files constant Notices of Unavailability, and yells at everyone. Other attorneys don't even want to work with her as an opposing counsel. We took our case elsewhere and have gotten 10X the results in one tenth the amount of time and about 25% of the cost. Best move we have ever made was obtaining a new attorney.
