I had emailed Mr. Kertchen and he responded that same day with information about is services. Other than sign some things and give him my finger prints (because I live in NV), he did everything. In approximately a month he completely everything I asked for. The service was very quick and the result was exactly what I wanted!

It’s a bright spring Monday morning, made all the brighter by the fact my rights have been restored by Vitaliy. Honestly, this is something I thought was never going to happen in my lifetime. Through a series of poor decisions made during a troubled youth, which led into a troubled adulthood, I lost my civil rights. Oddly, after getting sobered up I stopped getting in trouble with the law... frankly, it looks like two completely different lives- before getting sober, and after. Two completely different people. Because my life kept me on the move, I ended up with a record in several states. Because of this, Vitaliy informed me that I would need to acquire my FBI “rap sheet” before he could determine whether my case was workable or not. That was a fairly simple process, and once I got it to him, I thought I would hear back in a week or two... the next day there was a message saying a couple things; he started by saying, “well, the bad news is that you’ve got the longest rap sheet I’ve ever seen. The good news is that I can still work with it.” Every step of the way he and his office staff were kind, courteous, informative, and very responsive. I didn’t have to do anything other than sign a couple forms, digitally. The only reason I even know what Vitaliy looks like is because I’ve seen his picture on the internet. Aside from getting ahold of my rap sheet, the entire process was done while laid back on my couch, through my iPad. This was insanely easy! He informed me it would likely be around 60 days. That was roughly a month ago... I woke up to an email yesterday morning... that’s Sunday... informing me he’d no longer be representing me. My initial thought was that I was denied because it was a month early. However, that was not the case... upon further reading I realized he was terminating his services because the job was done! My rights have been restored!! This is so exciting for several reasons- I get to take my son hunting when deer season rolls around next autumn, for starters. But the ability to exercise my constitutional rights to defend myself, my loved ones, and those around me is hugely important to me. It’s one step closer to being fully an American citizen who takes that role seriously, and has pride in patriotism. It’s hard to explain, because I wasn’t one of the cases where I made one silly mistake and lost my rights... my life was a series of disasters that left me on the very furthest fringes. Although, I was never a violent criminal or abuser of women, any of that sort of stuff. But I thought I would always be relegated to those fringes. I am happy to report that is not the case! I will be returning to Vitaliy for services at some point in the not-too-distant future to have him work on expunging my whole record (there’s a difference between restoration of rights, and the expungement process), at which point I will look like an average, everyday citizen who has never been in trouble. At least, on paper. (In person I look pretty weird... entirely covered with tattoos and such). This is a long review... sorry ‘bout that. But this is actually a fairly emotional day for me. I’m 47, and I lost my civil rights (and firmly stepped foot onto the path of destruction) when I was 12!!! The impossible day has arrived!! And now I’m going to have a huge breakfast of steak and eggs, and then head to the damn range!! Thank you so much Vitaliy!!! PS- I inquired with several other firms, and you WILL NOT find a more reasonably priced, and friendly person to do these services for you. I absolutely would, and will, recommend Kertchen Law services!
