Hello everyone, I feel the need to share my experience with Burns Law Firm. In 2019, I sought assistance from Mindie Flemins to help me with a situation involving the board and property management. Mindie was initially very effective in handling my case, which led me to return to her in 2022 when I faced a new issue with a different property management company. For the first three months, she was actively involved in communication and legal proceedings, but her responsiveness declined over time. The situation dragged on for over a year, with Mindie failing to return my calls or respond to my emails, leaving me feeling helpless and frustrated. Despite spending a significant amount of money and time, I felt that I made no progress. I trusted Mindie to gather necessary documents and represent me, but I was left feeling misled and abandoned. The emotional toll of this experience has been immense, leaving me feeling hurt, angry, and embarrassed. Before parting ways with Mindie, I requested all communication and interactions with the property and attorney to aid in transitioning to a new attorney, but my request was ignored. As a paying client, I believe I had the right to understand how I was represented. While I cannot speak for Mindie's colleagues, I can only share my personal experience with her. I share this review in the hope of raising awareness and helping others in similar situations. I urge anyone seeking legal representation to thoroughly research and interview potential attorneys. Unfortunately, I learned this lesson the hard way. I am grateful to have now found a reputable and trustworthy firm that is genuinely responsive to my concerns, even though it means starting over. Very professional firm to handle business and real estate law

Having sent countless clients to Martin Burns - ALL of whom experienced outstanding results - I find it curious that some folks show up with an insurmountable challenge, then question the competency or commitment of Martin Burns and his staff when they’re unable to realize the one-sided outcome they sought… Reminds me of a factual adage from the great Stephen Covey: “The #1 reason companies are plagued by ethical violations is the pressure to meet expectations….sometimes UNREALISTIC expectations.” Brian Keith Mason Better Properties UP/Fircrest Designated Broker

Could be more organized, but straightforward and got results

I've been an active Real Estate Broker in Tacoma-Pierce County since 1978 and a real estate firm owner since in 1981. I can say that Martin Burns is absolutely the best real estate Attorney you could hire.

Find a different Attorney!!! I referred my family to Burns, she has called and left several messages that were never returned. I referred him to help assist her with probate and Estate issues. She wasn't even acknowledged during this hard and painful time in her life. Burns made his reputation from working with Ed McFerrin. It is obvious to me that Burns can't stand on his own.

Mr Burns is very kind, knowledgeable and knows his business. He saved me a lot of $. He countersued for my LLC when I lost in Small Claims Court to my HOA. The judge didn't know real estate law so didn't realize the HOA couldn't sue an LLC. Mr Burns also responded a few years later when the HOA tried again to sue me. In a letter he quoted the laws to them and that finally ended my problem. I highly recommend Burns Law.

Does not return calls or emails. I was referred to Mr. Burns by a couple other attorneys. First, I went through the website, described by situation and the help I needed and asked for assistance. After a couple of days of not hearing back, I called and left a message. I also emailed Mr. Burns directly. Crickets. I guess he doesn't want new clients. I found another attorney.

Pretty disappointed. We had used Mr. Burns before and had acceptable results, and had a new issue come up that was time sensitive. We tried to contact him via phone and email for way longer than we should have before realizing he was ignoring us. He didn't even have the decency to let us know he was either too busy or wasn't interested in helping us. He couldn't write a 3 word email response to let us know to not waste our time, even after spending thousands of dollars with him.
