I am shocked by this attorneys fees. But a down payment and then deceided to go a different directions out of 165.00 got 53.00. It's not like they actually filed out the paperwork that the client has to do. Not really sure the 1400.00 and somethingthat was quoted is right either. Really am shocked by refund check amount. Surpised they did not keep it all.

Only recently have I emerged from the bankruptcy from hell, due to numerous circumstances beyond my control, but my attorney Dorothy Bartholomew, my case worker Jada Wood and the very competent staff at her law office, made it finally happen. Without my friend and financial partner, Peter, who passed away in 2012, I really struggled to meet my obligations to the court and when the trustee filed notice to sell my home out from under me during a Chapter 13 to 7 conversion with only months to go on my plan, I thought I was going to lose everything. But Dorothy took all the correct steps to protect my rights and my hard-earned equity. Dorothy really cares about her clients and she is knowledgeable on how to use different aspects of the law to protect them. It’s because of Dorothy and her responsive staff that went above and beyond to help me get through a very turbulent time that I am finally free of the court and in control of my own property again after 5 long years. Dorothy has been working with me on my complicated case for several years and has been a wonderful advocate. You will find her professional, kind and knowledgeable.
