Jennifer is absolutely wonderful, would recommend without hesitation

In 2020, my parents died within the span of months. Suddenly, I was the executor of two estates (one in-state and the other out) with no idea what to do. Paul Battan handled my dad’s Washington state probate. Having worked with two attorneys through essentially the same process, I can tell you Paul is the attorney you want to have. I worked directly with Paul through the probate process rather than with a paralegal. As a result, my questions were answered quickly and I had confidence that he knew exactly what was happening with the case at all times. When you reach out to Paul, he responds within a few hours. With the other attorney, I felt like I had to leave multiple, follow up messages before he got back to me often many days later. Finally, Paul goes above and beyond. When I mentioned some problems we were having with the other attorney regarding the sale of estate property, Paul looked into that state’s legal code and sent me a section to share with the other attorney that seemed to address the problem. I have recommended Paul a number of times and will continue to do so. He’s a caring person who made a difficult process easier and even made me laugh at a time when there wasn’t much to laugh about.

I understand the need for attorneys in divorce cases. I understand that compromises must be made, and more often than not neither party leaves feeling that justice prevailed. What I don’t understand is the use of children as pawns to be paraded as legal leverage and dragged through the courts while innocent toddlers. I wish somebody would explain this to Atty Paul Battan. I so sincerely wish that someone could convey to Paul that kids are not legal “play things” to be immersed in the courts at a child’s expense and loss of innocence. Select another attorney. Do that for your child.

Paul did a great job helping me with my divorce. Paul was up front, honest, and true to his word when explaining things to me and fighting for me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for legal advice and services!

Paul is a nice guy but a terrible negotiator. Went into our meeting he said absolutely everything 50/50 then after meeting my ex and her attorney proceeded to negotiate everything to her advantage, even valuing assets differently to her advantage. I was in shock! After the meeting I released him as my attorney and looking back what he’d done he apologized and refunded my money. He had no explanation for his bizarre actions.

Jennifer has always done a superb job. I appreciate her thoroughness and ability to effectively communicate either with me or on my behalf.

In short, you will not go wrong with Mr. Battan.

No one ever wants to find themselves sitting at an attorney office. Paul Battan made it seems natural and was very reassuring.
