Working on my divorce paperwork I was encouraged by a friend who was working with Anne on another matter to go and meet with her. After sitting down and determining what I needed moving forward we decided I didn’t need to hire Anne on a full retainer but hire her as a consultant for my divorce and that she would guide me through the process and go over all the paperwork before filing. This saved me financially and I was able to still get top notch legalese. She took what could have been a overwhelming experience and made it professional and affordable. Anne was assigned my case about halfway through my recent divorce. I already knew her as she was working on my Will and trust for my kids at the same firm. Because my prior Lawyer left the firm Anne was assigned to handle my case. Unfortunately for me this was my second divorce. Because of this, and other issues in my life , I had many other attorneys on retainer throughout this period in my life. I have a very good understanding of what to expect and not expect from my legal support. The Prenuptial agreement was from out of State. Because of this things got very complicated. Anne took the initiative to perform a very detailed forensic evaluation of my complex financial history since my marriage. Tracking my assets at the time of the wedding through countless transactions and account changes until the separation seems insurmountable to me yet she was able to accomplish it. Her prior experience prepared her for this difficult task. Having a Pre- Nup any potential divorce should have been predetermined yet the change in venue did not necessarily see it that way. The leverage provided by Annes extensive research provided the key to a much more equitable settlement offer being accepted without modification. I do not believe this would have happened with our her knowledge and experience. In my experience as a consumer of legal representation I have never experienced this level of dedication and perseverance to my case before. I can highly recommend her for the reasons above and for her help counseling me through a very difficult emotional experience besides all the financial issues involved.
