I originally went through UpRightLaw and do payments for my bankruptcy. I kept in touch with the attorney after my money was transferred to him. Due to unforeseen circumstances, that caused me to put this on the back burner, I didn’t file or complete the bankruptcy process (health issues and unexpected family death). I contacted him today and he said I would have to start everything all over again, including the payment since it’s been archived cause it’s been over a year. I wouldn’t be filing for bankruptcy if I could afford the payment twice.

Steven is very knowledgable and kind. He genuinely cares about his clients and is easy to work with.

He was patient and quick to respond even at 4am when I was uncertain about what papers I needed and how to make them into a PDF file. I can say I did drag my feet getting everything together (3 years almost) but he never pushed me to get it done faster instead he would check in from time to time and give me the encouragement I needed to keep going with what seemed like a overwhelming and daunting task. Steve was fantastic with my bankruptcy. I’ve never found an attorney in my life that was so available by email/text or call. Bankruptcy can be really intimidating and bring up many feelings of worthlessness. Steve made me feel at ease about the process and made the process really simple. Particularly with how he laid out what was needed on his part via documents or records. Even though it’s not anybody’s brightest day I would recommend Steve 1 million times over if you have to file.
