Johnny ‘sure shot’ McMullen has an impeccable reputation amongst his peers, including all the judges and prosecutors in Clark County. He is absolutely the best. There is no need for you to worry about wasting your time consulting with anyone else.

I knew the first time I met Jon that he believed in what he does and that there would not be a better attorney. He is always available and willing to discuss all of the options. He is honest and always tells people what they need to know not what they want to know. Jon is worth every penny. He will fight for you and your rights and works very well with all of the prosecutors to ensure that you get the best possible deal.

Absolutely could not ask for a better lawyer. Jon not only gets the job done, but he is extremely passionate about what he does. This is a lawyer that's not all about money, he truly looks out for the best interest of his clients and his reputation as one of the best, if not THE BEST defense attorneys you can find. He's a straight shooter that tells you the truth instead of what you want to hear, and I think the rest of the legal system respects this very integrity giving him the upper hand with negotiations within. He remembered the littlest details I told him about my case months prior and used them to our advantage, his mind is like a steel trap! The only time he can't be reached is when he's giving another client the same undivided attention you would hope he gives you, and for such a busy man he gets back to you right away every time. I've went the cheap route before but know now that Jon is worth every penny every time, and can't imagine trusting another attorney with my cases like I trust Jon.

I could have spent upwards of 15 years involving 5 felony sexual abuse charges. I had never been in trouble with the law and didn't know were to turn for help. I was referred to Mr. McMullen through a family member. On days when we went to court Jon was very professional. He seemed to be well known and liked by everybody in the courtroom. Twice upon leaving the courtroom I had people come up to me and ask for his card. Once during a hearing he actually had to correct a judge and show them what needed to be done in a particular part of my case. Mr. McMullen fought hard for me. Unfortunately because of media coverage I still had to spend 9 months in jail and plead to 2 of the 5 charges. I know that without his help I most likely would have gone to prison for a long time. While in jail I heard many horror stories about people going with court appointed attorneys and how they were hard to get a hold of and didn't feel satisfied with them. I made several calls to Jon and he got back to me in a timely fashion. As I was going in to be sentenced one of the two officers transporting me from the jail to the courthouse asked me who my attorney was and when I told him he said, " That's a good attorney to have." The other officer told me, " I know if I were in trouble he would be the first attorney on my list." Needless to say I was very satisfied with Jon throughout my trial process. If I had to go through this nightmare again he would still be my attorney. He was worth ever penny.

I hired Mr. Jon Mcmullen approximately 6 months ago to defend me regarding a 4th degree assault charge that came during a time that I was in a custody battle for my youngest child. Although the charge seemed to be minimal, due to my profession as well as my custody case, it was and could be detrimental to both. Mr. Mcmullen impressed me from the very first contact, with his professionalism and straight to the point approach. Specifically, I was referred to him by another attorney and he immediately, based on the referral, understood the importance of my charge and scheduled an appointment to address my needs. When I met with him for the first time, he told me what I needed to hear and not what I wanted to hear. Again, specifically, stated that his fee, due to travel and the location of the charge was going to be twice as high then if I would have went with an attorney in the area, and he offered to refer me to one. Not a great opener, but it was explained to me so that I could determine what fit my needs, not his. During our consultation, he explained the process in great depth. It went exactly as he stated. I knew immediately that I was going to hire Jon. Being around as many professional individuals and attorneys as I have, you knew there was something about him that was very unique. His passion for what he does, and his personal aura are unique to find in an individual, especially an attorney, and once he entered the courtroom and began to defend me, you knew by the way he spoke and talked to the prosecutor and judge you had the right person that you wanted speaking on your behalf. His style is not what you expect. He did not have all the fancy phones, computers and technology, I did not get his cell phone and get told to call him, he had an assistant that he expected to gather the information (and a very good one I might add), and you were assured that Jon got your information and that he would get things handled. And he did! During my case, we came to a fork in the road. Which was to except an offer from the prosecutor or go to trial. After meeting with Jon and looking at the pros and cons, the decision was made to accept the offer. We signed the offer and at that point the case would have been closed and Jon could have collected his fees and moved on. We sat in the courtroom to wait to hear our name get called. Before it did, Jon asked me a question or two and then said, "We don't need to make a decision today." and we didn't take the offer, and he went back to work. 3 or 4 more trips up and down the road, more time with the prosecuting attorney, more tasks for me to do all for the same cost. But he didn't give up. Two months later, with the facts in hand the case was dropped. My career and custody battle staying on track and clearing my name to all. Mr. Mcmullen not only is my defense attorney, for me and my family from this point forrward, I consider him a friend. I oversee a company with 100's of employees and would recommend him to all who would need his services. I promise you from the first time you meet him and shake his hand, you will know what I did the first time I met Jon. Jon and Megumi were great to work with. They always responded quickly to my phone calls and all my questions and concerns were always addressed. Jon was able to get the DA to agree to let me go through the diversion program rather than going through a trial. That saved me from having to go through so much!

Jon got some charge dismissed before we ever had to go to court. Before a charge was ever filed, Jon was on the case and had the DA toss the case.

Jon is a very impressive attorney. His presence in the court room was very reassuring to me. I could tell that the prosecutors and judge had respect for him. He worked out a negotiated settlement that reduced my DUI to a Neg I, which was really important in my case. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome of my case. He didn't keep me as informed as what I would have liked, but in the end, he followed-through on everything that was of importance. And, I was very happy with an outcome that could have been quite complicated in my case.

What a waste of money! Would have been better off with a court appointed attorney. This lawyer did nothing to help my case.
