I had a somewhat complicated child custody case. As I did research to find a attorney, Lisa Ward’s name kept popping up with excellent reviews and plenty of recommendations. When meeting with Lisa, I could tell she was knowledgeable and experienced. I was especially impressed when she battled in court for my son and I. Should I ever need her expertise again, I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

I had the absolute pleasure of having David Gross (along with his paralegal Karrey Komp) represent me in a custody case. David is phenomenal! He went above and beyond my expectations. My case was a long drawn out one that lasted almost 6 months when it realistically shouldn’t have! My ex husband was asking for 50/50 custody. After I was served papers I was quickly looking up excellent law firms in Vancouver, and came across Mckinley Irvin! I fully understand why they are so highly rated- every one is very professional, compassionate and understanding and David was quick to respond to all of my emails answering multiple questions I had. I entered a divorce litigation anxious of how it would end, and in the whole process Lisa patiently walked me through the case, patiently explained to me what I need to know, and set expectations, and every step of the way she got me more than what's expected. Lisa is also good at calming me down when I was frustrated, with laid out strategies and explaining to me what the opposite side is attempting to achieve, and how I should respond, and how to prepare. With Lisa's consultation and help, I came out of a settlement conference over financial matters with sound outcomes. Then Lisa helped me to avoid a potentially costly trial over parenting plan, and got that part settled in an arbitration in my favor. So now the case is over, I got more residential time with my child, and able to maintain myself financially, all because of Lisa's help, her expertise in family law and her diligence in handling my case have turned things around for my case!
