I would highly recommend Joshua!!! We had to recently move my mother into an adult family care home and quickly realized the shock of the cost and everything that comes with it. We were referred to Joshua for elder care advice and decided within minutes that he was the best to assist us with the process. He is very down to earth and quick/easy to communicate with (he responded to emails while he was on a 2 week vacation) but also direct and to the point, which is what we needed during this process. The last 4 months have been quite a whirlwind of emotions, documents, trusting the process and it all happening so quickly but we were confident in Joshua.

We were delighted Joshua Pops was able to revise a once complicated Revokable Will & Trust to simplicity not wasting any time to be thorough. We so appreciate his focus and friendly disposition. We could not be more pleased!

After a death from dementia, Mr. Pops literally took over, handling the complete multi state estate, and simply telling me when, where and what to do. I had a health crisis at the same time and he managed the details to completion, did all the interactions, letters etc. and made the estate closure as stress free as he could. He has a solid knowledge of Washington elder law. He has since done trust work and separate POAs for my family just as efficiently quickly and competently. I cannot recommend his no nonsense easy to understand approach more highly.

Joshua Pops is an outstanding attorney! I live in CA and my mother is in a Dementia care facility in WA. Mom needed to apply for Medicaid to cover her expensive care and I had no idea how to do this for her. While calling around Joshua's name was mentioned several times as being an expert in elderly issues and Medicaid. My Mom's matter was relatively small, yet Joshua took it seriously and worked diligently to get the result my mom needed. He was easy to reach, answered my many questions, and even kept tabs on the application once he submitted it, going above and beyond to ensure a good result for Mom. I highly recommend Joshua Pops.

Joshua did an excellent job handling my deceased mother’s estate. He went above and beyond to find answers about an unusual Medicaid lien situation, and I ultimately received an inheritance because of it when it seemed unlikely. He was responsive to calls and emails, straight to the point, and overall, compassionate during a situation that nobody wants to be in. I highly recommend him.

I consulted with Joshua on a child support modification matter. Although it was counter to his interests, he ethically advised me that I COULD pursue the matter through support enforcement. He gave me the pros and cons of such an action and time to make a decision. Ultimately I elected to use his services, rather than going through the state agency. At every turn, he made suggestions to me when he saw and opportunity for me to save money in my endeavor and when my case took a deep left turn, he stepped up to change process in order to accommodate me and see my wishes through to action. He also identified areas in my changed course of action that might leave me exposed in the future and worked hard to advise me and make sure that we shored up those areas of exposure. I was more than pleased with the services Joshua provided.

Do need a lawyer who charges a hundred dollars for a 15 minute consultation? Then Joshua Pops is your man. Do you need a lawyer that gets paid to go the distance and then drops out? Then Joshua Pops is your man. Do you need a lawyer that would rather watch sports then attend to your case? Then Joshua Pops is your man. Do you need a lawyer who thinks he's superior and talks over you? Then Joshua Pops is your man. Do you want a lawyer who calls you names in court behind your back? Then Joshua Pops is your man. Do you need a lawyer who makes it seem like you're burden on him and that your case is not a priority? Then Joshua Pops is your man. Do like being told to shut up by your lawyer? Then Joshua Pops is your man. I don't recommend Mr. Pops unless you just have money to burn. It turns out that even if you do all the leg work and investigation and supply all the pertinent information Mr. Pops will find a way to seem burdened. I would give no stars

Josh Pops was personable, easy to work with and his sense of humor ameliorated the stress of the situation. Personality alone does not merit 5 stars, though. I chose Josh over other attorneys I met with because he gave me the clearest understanding of what he felt he could and could not accomplish. When I retained him I had a reasonable concept of his strategy and he worked as an effective team with me to accomplish what we could. He was flexible in methods of communication, scheduling and never wasted my time. To be fair, it's rare to meet someone as personable as him as well as professional. When it is necessary, I will be retaining Josh again and have already recommended him to friends.

I had an extremely difficult and unusual divorce issue that other lawyers would not take on due to uniqueness and difficulty. From the first day meeting with Josh, I was impressed with his compassion and positive outlook on my case. His fees are some of the most reasonable in Vancouver. Josh's legal expertise made the whole process easy to understand and financially affordable. Joshua Pops...one of the best!
