Mr Schuck was very helpful in making sure I understood the laws surrounding my case, the options I had, and the possible outcomes I had not considered. He was very kind and and patient with me and helped me see my case more clearly.

David was a great resource in a time of need. I have never had a legal dispute involving my wages before. He answered every question that I had very thoroughly during my free consultation. He also gave me some really helpful tips to look out for. I would definitely use him if I need to pursue my case further.

I worked as an analyst for a call center for what amounted to roughly 2.5 weeks. After the 2.5 week training session concluded, I elected to seek other opportunities and left my employer on good terms. I had filled out my timesheet each week. My employment was as a contractor, separate from the company I was working for actually. After 2+ weeks of not being paid at all (over a month delay total), I reached out to Schuck Law after searching the internet for a solution. According to Karen, who cited Oregon State Law, I should have been expecting my final paycheck to be deposited/delivered to me within 24 hours of my ending employment. After talking to Karen, I made the formal decision to hire Schuck Law, and specifically have Karen represent my case Karen and her staff worked with me diligently, patiently, and eventually was able to resolve my situation in my favor. It took a goodly bit, over 3 months to resolve, but I thanks to the clear expectations set forth to me by Karen, I expected this. In the end my pay was addressed, albeit 4+ months late. I was most impressed with was their candor about how to handle this, what to expect, and how things would eventually play out. Karen made it clear that this whole endeavor was a process, and that the process needed to play out accordingly. My former contracting agency at first balked regarding any penalty wages, let alone paying me what I had worked (and forget the legal fees for Schuck Law LLC), but when all was finished, both Shuck Law and myself were paid as expected, including penalty wages. In over 25 years of working I have never had a situation like this, but I am grateful that my first time allowed me to find a great solution to addressing my needs. I consider myself quite fortunate to have found an honest, diligent, and reputable law firm to represent my needs. I have had little reason to involve an attorney in my life, but the one time I did, I found someone I would easily recommend to others. Karen and her staff was excellent, and treated my situation with respect and understanding. I am sure there are attorney's out there that are worse, but I seriously doubt there are others that are better. If you have a wage claim issue, and you feel your employer or former employer has violated state or federal laws in Oregon (or Washington), please do not hesitate to call them. I sincerely hope I never have to go thru something like this again, but if I do, I know who I would call if need be..

Very poorly treated, lack of interest in claim they advertised to get. After a week of waiting, sending requested information, coldly told to go elsewhere. I did not ask the firm to take on my Civil Rights claim, just handle the wage claim. So I was told I need to go to elsewhere because my wage claim and civil rights claim need to be handled together. I was sent to two other law firms, one not taking new clients, and one a long distance away charging $249 for consult. I did see the 2nd referral, quite nice lawyer, who indicated the two claims should be handled separately. Boo hoo, So not to start over, AGAIN, I went back to the Shuck firm. They had a assistant e-mail me to say since they denied the case originally, they could not take on the wage claim. Literally dumped. How do you think I feel about the legal profession? Especially when this firm advertised with a large bill board that they specialize in wage claims.

My case was a case that many of us go threw in the work place,The objective of doing our job to the best of our ability and try to make long term goals to move up in the company, and all of the sudden you are told your not needed anymore with no reasons behind it. your world feels like its going to fall apart, you lose you place of residence,your pride,your self astem begains to fade and you feel like there is no hope,you want to talk to an attorney but your afraid because you've heard alot of stories about them,doing wrong or just dont want to help you. This is the second time I have needed to use David Schucks services. I did not need to do anything, David and his partner handled everything for me. I just needed to sign a couple of pages then a little while latter I had a check in my lap. It took less than a year which if anyone has ever sued anyone that is not to bad. I did not need to pay a huge amount just to find out that I had a weak case or to find out I did not win. There was no risk on my part. David review my case and took it with no up front payments. withThat my friends and with Davids knowledge, you can not go wrong. I as terminated from my job and not provided with a final paycheck due to unlawful deductions. David was able to, not only get my paycheck plus a hefty penalty for me, but he was also able to get a hefty settlement for many other employees of my former company. Great guy!
