I don’t know a single attorney to challenge allegations by Yakima Police Department, State Farm Insurance Associates, Department of Social Health Services licensing Department in both Administrative and Likely Criminal proceedings and negotiate them all down to even receive verbal apologies. If you need a legal advocate this is your guy! He is very intelligent and knows his stuff. Be honest with him and upfront and he will have your back the entire way! Highly recomended!!!

Took my case after representing my child's mother. I told him her name and even showed him pictures. After finding out he had a conflict of interest he dropped me and changed me an outrageous amount for the amount of work that was done.

Contacted Chris Tait to help with a business law issue and he constantly wants more and more money to pad his retainer. After two years of unresponsiveness and getting nothing done I fired him. Still have never seen a statement of charges or the balance of my retainer.

When we talked to him about our case he was very familiar with CPS procedure and acted confidentMy wife and I used him for kid napping by CPS of our 4 children. Later to learn that do to his lack of knowledge of CPS procedure that our kids shouldn't of had our kids for 3 weeks that CPS kid- napped our children. Luckily we had the resources to fire Tait and hire another attorney which had our kids back in our home within just a couple days of retaining there expertise. CPS dropped all charges which within the first 72 hours Tait should have had the charges dropped. The only thing we felt he was concerned about was his payment 5k for the retainer. He also said that if everything goes right we should get our kids back by thanksgiving, keep in mind this was mid September and that he would need 10k more.

Chris was very powerful and purposeful during our first appearance. He got the case going in the right direction, then dropped the ball. He was unprepaired for the next two hearings. "We're going in on our heels today." He didn't do some very routine procedures, such as looking up my ex's criminal record or requesting any CPS case files. He withdrew when he got outworked by the other attorney and the commissioner reprimanded me. I hadn't even been given the opportunity to reply. He made me look bad.
