Mr. Bothwell and his staff got me the results that I never would have gotten on my own. It was hard to believe that I was able to receive my social security benefits in only three months time. Start to finish and my first check in my hand. Special kudos to Miriam, she was patient, courteous, and a consummate professional. Thank you all!

I found his experience to be top notch. He was patient with me when my anxiety attacks came over me during our time with the SSD Judge.
He helped me get my SSD hearing granted when it seemed impossible to

I can't recommend Mr. Bothwell highly enough. For several years I was told by my doctors to file for my social security disability. At the same time I also heard horror stories of the substantial cost and that it would take several years and repeated denials. Mr. Bothwell and his staff were not only knowledgeable and to the point but took the time to answer all of my questions and kept in touch with me during the entire process. I would highly recommend this exceptional company.

I appreciate the professional service and kindness that I recieved from the entire team. My anxiety and depression was through the roof! I called on several occasions highly concerned about my pain level and anxious from waiting on my claim. The staff always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner and the ladies listened to me while crying several times and never once did I feel as though I was bothering them. I am very happy I chose Bothwell to represent me. I won!!!!

I hired Mr. Bothwell to handle my Social Security case and it was a great learning process for me. The assistants are very helpful and the attorney was knowledgeable and professional. He helped me be very prepared for my hearing and he was really on it when it came to dealing with the judge. I don't think I would have won without him.

So i came to this attorney to help me obtain SSDI. Every interview with him he was short, rude, arrogant and unpleasant. When it came time for my court date he said very little in the way to really support me in court and huffed and puffed when i made comments to the judge to defend my position. I could tell he wasn't giving his 200% to fight my case. It wasn't a snap judgment for me to make about him because prior to my claim i seen him in action before for a close relation to me thus that's why i went to him. I knew in advance he could be rude. I knew in advance how he was but i had faith in him and like i said i seen him in action.
Time comes for my hearing. We reach a deal with the adjudicated judge. He was asked to send in one supporting document and she said she would consider my case accepted for social security if he furnished that document. We left he looked at me with his smile and said well MR--- I think we got this all we need to do is get that paper work sent in to her. Months goes by. I check back with him. He informs me my medical professionals in my case did not have my back and did not get him the requested documents and thats why i lost my case. He refused to take it any further.
Didn't think much of it till i seen my doctor next. When i found out that the doctor did send him the documents and did have my back and that is was Mr. Bothwell who just elected not to send it in for the betterment of his firm! I can't stress that enough. "The betterment of his firm!" I was really, really upset. Shocked a disability attorney could be #1 so rude to people in general and #2 so careless and in my opinion greedy! You attorneys in that law firm are suppose to help people not profit off them and drag them through mud!
In closing face to face i would have told Mr. Bothwell exactly what i thought but his partner was working on another case of mine or trust me i would have!

When I became unable to keep up at work due to pain and issues caused by my premature birth which caused a lot of problems where eventually the extra effort I had to put in to keep my employers feeling satisfied with my work eventually became too much, I was forced out of work, but I tried to find some work for several months before coming to grips with the fact I just couldn't find work I could do, even though over the years I took lesser jobs to stay working. It has been very stressful to be in the situation, Tom has been very caring and understanding. I was awarded, but I notice it says its reviewed again in 5 to 7 years, I hope that if I need Tom's help then, he will again fight for me.

I went to a free consultation with this lawyer to find out information on SSDI. He listened to me and said at this point he could not help but in future would readdress my issues if ssa contacted me and see if he could help. He then sent me a letter that recapped that at this point he could not help. The last sentence of the letter, stated in paraphrase, if you need to see me about this matter in the future and do not need that dog please leave him home and don't bring him into this office. That dog he is referring to is a certified school trained service guide dog. This guy states he represents disabled, but a blind person should not bring a dog, don't be surprised if you are asked to remove your hearing aids.

up to date i have not had any problems whatsoever.when i had asked the social security to add information that was relevant to my case i was denied.when i asked the social security administration to correct mistakes they made on my application[it was a phone interview] i was denied.without even asking mr.bothwell he demanded the social security administration to correct their false assumptions made on my claim and allow relevant material to my current case.since then i have been denied my claim but that is okay because my lawyer specializes in denials and it is from that point in which he has the power to give help to the client. i would give bothwell high marks for prompt performance in dealing with the department of social and health services and obtaining medical records and school records as well as with ssa.9 out of 10
