Disappointing Experience with Ben Hatfield I had the unfortunate experience of observing Ben Hatfield's conduct in a legal context, and it was truly disheartening. It appears that instead of dedicating his efforts to protecting people and their property, Mr. Hatfield is more interested in spending tax dollars on personal vacations. Throughout his involvement, it became evident that Mr. Hatfield’s priorities were misaligned with the duties one would expect from a legal professional. His frequent absences and lack of engagement were glaringly apparent, and it seemed as though he was more focused on enjoying leisure time than on addressing the serious legal matters at hand. The delays and lack of progress in the case were frustrating and disappointing. For anyone who might encounter Ben Hatfield in a legal setting, be aware of the apparent disconnect between his responsibilities and his actions. His evident disregard for the proper handling of legal matters and misuse of resources suggest that his interests lie far from those of the clients he is supposed to serve.

This man has no business practicing law. He's a fake and a liar. To not prosecute someone with CLEAR EVIDENCE of their actions is wrong. Do better. Hire a new prosecutor.

We need new people in this office, they can’t charge someone for animal abuse with video evidence of a Shady Spring Teachers husband shooting someone’s dogs??? And the prosecuting assistants, need new ones, one of them needs to go back to Wyoming County with her husband and run for office with him! We need some new people that care about others, not just themselves!

I have known Ben Hatfield for several years and he has always been a very helpful, kind, and professional person. He takes his job very seriously and in my opinion has done a tremendous job for Raleigh County and all of us.
