To put someone in charge of your children's funds

Do not hire these people. I agree with the comment "very shady". They provided no bill and took what they wanted from the real estate money. Her assistant is so rude no one wanted to call and ask the charges or break down of the bill. Long story to tell. Just beware.

Very bad experience with Kelly Young as an estate attorney and very shady! I DO NOT recommend her. It is five years later and my dads estate is STILL not closed. Kelly hasn’t even cared enough to contact us back to even TRY to close this estate. She does not care about anything but her payment and that is very clear, seeing as how nothing at all has been done in the last year to finish out my dads estate. Her assistant Cindy is also very rude and almost impossible to talk to about anything that has to do with case. Very very bad deal! If you have an estate to deal with DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! You will end up broke with MANY unanswered questions!! And an estate that will stay open for YEARS even after your loved one is gone.

Kelly handles a lot of non-discretionary trusts, established for people who for certain reasons,drug addiction, etc., are deemed too irresponsible to handle their own finances typically after the person has won a settlement. The lawyer who manages this trust is often assigned by the court. As you might expect, there is often tension especially when the beneficiary repeatedly tries to get money for clearly false things, like a 'graduation gift in july, for two children, different ages, about a thousand should cover it.' Full disclosure, I worked for Kelly years ago: As you may have guessed my job was attending to these trusts. And with endless examples to provide, I would encourage you to take the previous reviews with that in mind.
