I asked up front if she could be aggressive if needed. She was very slow to respond and I’m not sure she had my best interest as my case was small in size. I had to continually contact her and push for any action. The case continued to drag on and on. She did not get back to me as she promised and I had no idea what was going on with my case. Once settled, she was to mail my settlement. I waited two weeks and I received no check. Thought it might have gotten lost in the mail, but after calling to follow up, I learned it was still in her desk. I live a distance away and had to drive to Kingwood to get my check. She has never settled my account to refund me any of the remaining funds from the retainer I gave her at the consultation. I wish I would have selected a different lawyer. Overall, I was very disappointed.
