I came to this law firm after receiving many positive recommendations, expecting they would genuinely work to resolve the debt I acquired from my accident. Trusting I was in the hands of a reputable team, I was initially directed to additional medical services, deterring me away from care by my established PCP, under the guidance of Erik Buckner—adding thousands of dollars more to my debt total, which ended with no noticeable benefit as the recommended provider just put me in a cheap massage chair every day with no real resolution. Throughout the lengthy and drawn-out process, I was completely left in the dark, with unanswered/ignored questions, phone calls, and emails while being forced to handle rental cars and transportation issues entirely on my own, driving up my personal out-of-pocket expenses—a small amount of the expenses that Erik and his team brushed off while treating me like I was lying or just incompetent trash stuck to their shoe when I would ask questions. The settlement process felt like an endless waiting game, and ultimately, Erik Buckner REFUSED to put effort into my case and push the insurance adjuster for a reasonable resolution. Disrespectfully settling my case for just enough for him and his buddy (the recommended provider) to get paid—leaving me thousands of dollars in debt—with not a care in the world from this incompetent group. Leaving me with no guidance or control within MY CASE. To add more insult to injury, Erik Buckner had the audacity to “reduce” his fee by only $1,500 in a what felt like a begging attempt to salvage the appearance of competence, as he couldn’t even show his face at signing- as if that minor reduction could mask the negligence and incompetence that defined my experience with him and this group. This paltry reduction was a transparent and pathetic attempt to soften the blow of their failure, a gesture that was as hollow as their commitment to resolving my case. To make matters worse, at the end, they simply cut me a check and left me blindly in the field of wonder to ensure every bill was paid and every debt accounted for. I was left to navigate the entire process on my own, without guidance or support, adding to the immense stress and leaving me feeling entirely abandoned. In hindsight, I would have been better off with self-representation using AI rather than putting trust in this unethical law firm that showed so little care for my situation and so little integrity to uphold the ethics required by the state bar. If you’re looking for a lawyer who’s skilled at ensuring he and his greedy friends get paid while disregarding the needs of their clients, Erik Buckner and this group are perfect for the job. My experience with him and this office was profoundly disappointing, to say the least.
