Huge disappointment. After watching attorney Mack's videos on the website, I had high hopes for this firm but found them to be very unprofessional and of no help at all. If they were unable to help me that's understandable but at least have the professionalism and common courtesy to say so. After running into a problem with my situation, I was told that an attempt would be made to correct the matter. I didn't hear anything from them for awhile and foolishly assumed that the matter must have been resolved and they must be working in my behalf(otherwise someone would have/should have communicated that, right) only to call and find that that was not the case, the matter had not been resolved, no one was trying to resolve it and no one even bothered to let me know. I was told that yet another attempt would be made to try and take care of the problem and that I would be contacted with updates. This never happened. When I called the office (Milwaukee office) on more than one occassion to inquire, I was always told someone would get back to me. No one ever has. Extremely unprofessional, I would not recommend them to anyone.

I scheduled a time to meet with Attorney Block for a discussion of the pros and cons of both Wills and Trusts. He took all the time needed to explain both in easy to understand terms. Communication during the process were answered promptly and thoroughly by either phone or e-mail. I found Attorney Block to be compassionate, ethical, fair and very knowledgeable in the area he practices.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE! I consulted Michael Mack regarding tax issues. I had little money and had just started a second job. He took $2200 from me and did NOTHING. He had me sign paperwork allowing him to represent me--and proceeded to do NOTHING. Endless useless meetings that went nowhere and unanswered phone messages. He took my money and wasted precious time-- I had to hire another attorney who has been very effective. But thanks to Michael Mack wasting my time the penalties and interest has accrued heavily. STAY CLEAR!!!

Helped my family create a trust and sort out all the messy possibilities that come up in life. Was a very easy process and everything was handled professionally but with a comforting, personal touch. I'll use Will again for any future estate-related services. Would definitely recommend.

Attorney Block is the utmost professional and I'm truly appreciative of working with him in a complicated family dilemma which lasted two and a half years. He was exceptionally prepared for any task regarding my issues which involved probate estate versus will & trust distributions. Block Legal Services put together a full Estate planning package for my mother, and she could not be happier with the results. Mr. Block was always attentive, thorough, and very upfront with everything. He took the time to explain everything in great detail, and always made sure we understood each legal piece. My interests were adversely affected by Attorney Block’s inattention to detail, lack of promptness, and what I believe to be sheer negligence. Even when my interests were not affected in substance, his unreasonable delay and inattention to legal matters caused me needless anxiety and undermined my confidence in his trustworthiness. Mr. Block charged me attorney fees for simple secretarial and paralegal work such as printing documents. He made glaringly obvious mistakes, seems to lack basic family law knowledge, and did not act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing me. 11/7/16: Update: Mr. Block may want to consider the reasons as to why a panel of 3 highly experienced attorneys that participated in our fee arbitration case ruled that I did NOT have to pay him the additional $9,800.00 he claimed that I owed him. Mr. Block testified at our fee arbitration that he had my legal documents printed at a third party print shop via a flash drive given to an employee. He stated that he was working on my case while they were printing the documents. I do not feel comfortable with my sensitive, legal information being handled in such a manner. Based on other reviews that I have seen and his professional experience, it seems he is quite knowledgeable in estate planning. He does not have the knowledge, experience, personality, and organizational skills required in family law.
