Pros
1
Friendly and relatable staff
“Very friendly staff”
2
Able to get the job done
“The people are rude and all but they get the job done”
Cons
1
Lack of quality counsel and client advocacy
“I do not feel I received quality counsel and in the end was pressured by my lawyer into signing an agreement that ultimately was less than what our GAL recommended”
2
Failure to properly represent client's interests
“They never counseled me on how it'd affect child support and also never took my proposal to the GAL, but the other party's counsel seemed to be in constant contact with the GAL to get him to sign on to their proposal.”
3
Dishonest and biased behavior as guardian ad litem
“Deb Asher was appointed as the GAL for my stepdaughter. Her father was the main caretaker for the first 8 years of her life, then when he and I began our relationship, her mother decided she wanted to be a mother and we were forced to go to court. Mother of the child immediately called Deb, painted a completely false narrative, that Deb then followed throughout the entire time.”
4
Lack of responsiveness and follow-up
“If you don't mind being ignored, not listened to and receiving no follow up, this is the lawyer for you.”
5
Questionable billing and communication practices
“Paid cash for a remainder of a bill; if I was late or missing a payment you'd think they would've filed it, or sent a late notice. A full year later I get a notice from the court they have filed a "final notice". I never received an initial notice, because it was paid in full in the first place.”
