I have had a very positive experience with Social Security Advocates. I was denied two times by the disability department and then I had my hearing. After being approved and receiving disability for over 2 years, Social Security reversed their approval out of the blue and said I owed them $25,000 overpayment. I called numerous law firms that either wouldn't return my call or refused to consider my case because I wasn't at the beginning of the application process (no large amounts of back pay to cover their fees). My income had plunged to $0, and I was being billed for $25,000. It was frightening and stressful, and I couldn't find anyone to help me. Dave and Teresa at Social Security Advocates were the only lawyers even willing to listen to my situation. After I explained my complicated case, they surprisingly, and to my great relief, agreed to represent me in spite of the fact that there would likely be no fee for them! They were both very professional and knowledgeable and yet extremely empathetic and kind. It was obvious that they truly care about the people they represent and those that are experiencing devastating, life-changing, and sometimes traumatic situations that seem hopeless and overwhelming. They began working on my case immediately, and did everything they could to help me understand and navigate through the complicated system of SSDI. The decision on my appeal was fully favorable and I am able to sleep at night again. I am beyond grateful to Dave and Teresa, as well as Kimberly their assistant, for the kindness and generosity they showed me. I know they will be blessed for their selfless service to those in need of their expertise. As you can tell by now, I highly recommend them!

Advocates of Wisconsin get the job done. They are very professional, and knowledgeable. I had tried 3 times on my own and failed every time. I struggle with anxiety so their kindness was greatly appreciated. Any time I had a question they were very quick to give me a response and I always felt like I was in good hands, and I was correct! After their hardwork I was awarded disabilty and I know I owe it all to their efforts! I can't understate how amazing this office has been to me and I know anyone who is looking for help with their disability will be in great hands! Dave and his staff were so very helpful with my case. They handled everything in a timely manner and I won my case within 5 months. He was recommended by a coworker (a bargaining committee member I worked with) who said he helped others in the past so I chose his services and everything worked out. He made it easy and convenient. We handled everything by phone and email. Just make sure you do your due diligence and fill out all paperwork requested and get it back to them in a timely manner to help with the process move along. I would recommend him to anyone who has to go on disability.

I had a very positive experience working with Social Security Advocates of Wisconsin. Any time I had a question, they always responded in a timely fashion. The fact that I was approved the first time of applying is an obvious benefit, but I would not hesitate in referring them to any of my friends or family.

I definitely will be suggesting that anyone unsure about getting the help they need from people who take the time with you and your case, this is in my opinion the best decision I made. It's so hard to put into words how on point this office is with each and every aspect of the case. If I had to do it all over again it would be Social Security Advocates of Wisconsin.
