Expensive legal services that may not be affordable for all clients
“Yes, my brother made a mistake possessing a very small amount of meth that he should have declined when it was offered to him in appreciation of letting someone do their laundry at his house but he wasn't an addict or even a routine user. But there was no real basis for their search of the property and we know of other cases where charges were dropped due to an unwarranted search. We had a hearing to try to get my brother released so he could get the medical attention he needed, his skin was gray and he felt like he was dying, but the jail would not address his concerns. The approach and lack of communication left us feeling like we didn't get the representation I had paid so much money for.”
