I was referred to him by another attorney. I am sure that if he knew just how I would be treated he wouldn't be referring people to him. I was on the phone with a girl for what seemed like an hour, being asked all these questions. I felt like I was disturbing her at a party she had going on in the background. She was rude and laughing, while I was confused by her speech and unable to answer her questions quick enough. After what seemed to be a torture session via the telephone, as I do have disabilities that prevent me from holding the phone for long periods of time and staying awake, she gets even more rude. The questions turned to income of my husband and our assets, and when she found out that we have more than $3,000. in assets she states that they can not help us. I asked why she didn't just tell me that in the first place and we wouldn't have to have gone through all that and she stated that they had to make the determination first. DUH!!!! It was based on my assets!!! That should have been the first question. That wasn't the only argument during the conversation.... They will NOT help you if you have already started the process on your own. And I had previously stated that I had already gotten my denial... She was not with the conversation at all!!!
