Called Nelson defence group for a legal consultation. Attorney Nero was a little out of my price range. However, he was extremely kind and informative in my short time talking to him. He was able to point me to an equally qualified attorney with no judgment and confidence I would get the legal help i need.

I had a DWI and Adam Nero got it down to a reckless driving! Also got the speeding and fleeing an officer removed. Great job!

I went through a divorce had my life turned around and unfortunately turned to alcohol. Long story short, I obtained multiple OWI's plus multiple bail jumping fines in less than 2 yr span. Adam Nero is one of the best investments I have ever made. His experience, professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge of the criminal/judicial system, and a drive to win is like no other. I was looking at prison time. In the process of my multiple cases he was able to get an OWI from 1994 removed from my record, one OWI dismissed and multiple bail jumping offenses dismissed also. The finale was getting me 2 counts of OWI 4th offense between 2 different counties. A fifth OWI is mandatory prison time, minimum of 1 year (which I never received). I did get some jail time which was unavoidable but with Huber and I am at home currently with a monitor!!! I am thankful everyday. I recommend Nelson Defense 100%

Quoted $9000, not including trial representation or fees, for a misdemeanor level case; a rate, of which, was 2 to 3 times higher than any other law office in the surrounding area that had been consulted with. Additionally, an in person consult was refused as well as even a review of the complaint prior to their representation being retained and the payment made. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE: Making a public statement as fact that is actually an assumption is what is unfair and unreasonable; at no time had it been communicated that the quoted fee was unaffordable, this is an unsubstantiated assumption. As a matter of fact, after the fee rate had been quoted, it had been communicated that I was still interested in setting up an in person consult or at least a review of the complaint prior to retaining the representation of the office. It is completely fair and reasonable to leave a review based on the results of an interaction with agents of an entity, especially when an offered service had effectively been rendered, e.g. the 5 minute phone "consult"; of which, during said phone consult, an in person consult was denied, a review of any case details were denied, and no demonstration of knowledge or insight to even instill confidence in retaining representation with the office had been offered. The office had actually been called and interacted with on three separate main occasions; the first occasion no quote had yet been provided, however, after having spoken with office representatives and a full legitimate consult was essentially denied prior to an attorney being retained, it was written off as a viable option. It wasn't until after another local attorney had communicated to me that my experience with the office had sounded to be highly abnormal based on their past experiences that I even contemplated reaching out again. Upon reaching out for the second time, the receptionist communicated that the attorney in question was unavailable but that they would transfer me to their assistant who would promptly see that a call was returned; I was then transfered to a voicemail with a recording that stated that this assistant wouldn't be available for approximately a week. Upon again speaking with the receptionist, they communicated that nobody with the office had communicated to them that this assistant would be unavailable and that they would deliver a memo of my call to the attorney. It was on the third interaction that a fee had been proposed but a review of pertinent case details or an in person consult were again denied. Lastly, it was neither fair nor reasonable to quote a fee rate 2 to 3 times higher than any other law office yet being the only law office in the county or surrounding area that had denied actually reviewing the case or an in person consult ahead of time; of which, in my opinion, is completely necessary for both a potential client as well as a business entity to be able to exercise due diligence prior to the signing of a contract and payment for services being rendered.

Highly highly recommend Attorney Adam Nero. As an IL resident, being charged in WI was extra difficult. Adam was able to get me out of a very sticky situation. I'm truly grateful for both his support and his expertise. I'd recommend him to anyone and everyone.
