I found myself in an overwhelming situation that could have ruined my life. From the moment Rick took my case, he was 100% committed to learning all the details. His ability to review and memorize facts was amazing. Rick made sure that I understood each step of the process and was always patient with my questions. He also thoroughly explained my options when I had to make tough choices. When I would call him, I would usually receive an immediate answer, by Rick, not a secretary. I didn't have to leave long messages explaining situations, because Rick viewed all the information himself and knew it as well as I did. Even when Rick was busy, he would give some type of response or acknowledgement to let me know when he would be available. Rick took his time in every conversation, listened to my concerns and addressed each one individually. I always felt that I was in the most capable hands with Rick as my attorney. He genuinely cares about his clients and is totally committed to getting the best result for them and that was reflected in every interaction. Not only is Rick a true professional and highly proficient lawyer, he is kind and considerate. If I had to make the decision again, I would definitely hire Rick. He is worth every dollar, without a doubt.

Atty. Rick Meier represented my wife and I in a criminal case. His understanding of the process, the documents and everything else that connected with my case was always surprisingly different and more accurate that what information I obtained online, from friends and relatives, etc. It's too easy to get sidetracked by well-meaning friends and family. Everyone will have a different interpretation of each and every document, procedure, interview, hearing, etc., that you may encounter. Rick slices through the confusion, provides meaningful, accurate and insightful explanations so that you really know what's going on in your case.
The other thing that sets Rick apart is that, when you call, you're speaking to him directly. He takes care of your case personally.
He's outstanding in the court room. He presents himself as thoughtful, thorough, and extremely competent. He anticipated things I wouldn't have thought of and negotiated for advantages that other attorneys might have missed.
I highly recommend Rick Meier.

Given everything that has degraded with our judicial system that appears to no longer be about justice, I found no signs of those effects in Mr. Meier. He treated me as a person, not just a case. He was very thorough, intelligent, and passionate in his approach. In the midst of a very difficult process, I was not once concerned with the person representing me. His billing is unfair but only to him. If I had paid him twice as much I still would have felt it was a bargain. Once the bill was determined and amount paid, it was never revisited. It never affected the amount of time he committed to my case. Mr. Meier was also easily reached and available. There is no secretary acting as an intermediary. When you call him, you either talk with him or he calls you back in a timely manner if not available at that moment.
It was readily apparent that my case didn't just represent a notch in the win or loss column for him. During jury deliberation, he was more nervous than I was. No one likes to lose (attornies included), but he believed in my case and was more concerned with the impact to my life if a favorable verdict wasn't received. Even if I hadn't received a favorable verdict, it would never have crossed my mind to blame his performance of his duties.
In summation, if you need an attorney with Mr. Meier avaiable, you would be foolish not to hire him.
