I hired Heidi to prepare my Last Will and Testament and my Power of Attorney and to review my other estate plans. I was surprised at how much more complex a Will is since the one I had done many years ago. Heidi explained all of the provisions that were new to me, including that while they may not apply at this time, they are included just in case they are needed in the future. That way the provisions are in place without the need to rewrite the entire document. I found Heidi to be personable, thorough, and willing to explain things in a clear and concise manner, without using legalese, leaving me with a good understanding of what I was getting. The final documents were presented to me in a well organized, tabbed, three-ring binder which also included other informational materials and a flash drive with the documents. The only negative is that the clerical staff made errors that I caught. The initial letter to me actually misspelled my name, and a document had an incorrect middle initial. These were easily corrected. But perhaps the most egregious error was in a real estate document that had an incorrectly entered number, causing a delay at the Register of Deeds office and the need for an Affidavit of Correction.

I worked with Heidi to create legal documents for my mother which included a simple will and establishing power of attorney. Heidi was very professional yet caring as she guided my mother through the process. A year later when my mother passed away, finalizing financial and legal matters went very smoothly thanks to the guidance and documents that were created with Heidi. I found Heidi to be extremely well prepared, knowledgeable and responsive. I will be working with Heidi in the future and would highly recommend her as an attorney.

Heidi walked my husband and I through creating our trust. We felt she had a very high level of knowledge, with an even higher regard for who we were and what our goals were. She explained the pros and cons of our wishes; allowed us to ask questions; and provided answers that didn't make us feel inferior, portraying patience and care with each step. I contacted Heidi for legal advice on vacation property that was gifted to me from my mother. Mom ended up in a nursing home and I had to pay a divestment penalty before my mother was eligible for financial assistance. Her advice was 100 % correct. Heidi and her team were able to help us retain our home and understand the laws associated with this process. Dad is in a safe and around the clock assisted living environment now, we retained ownership of the home, have resumed our working lives and have peace of mind knowing that Dad is cared for whether we are there or not. One piece of advice to anyone in the same situation is....never think you understand Medicare Laws - they are extremely complicated - get a Lawyer who knows them! Thank you Heidi!
