Mario was always available to me throughout the stress of board related issues. He was compassionate with my coping with this stress and very knowledgeable about the board’s workings. He knew the opposing counsel’s temperament and his guidance relating to this matter and the likely outcome was spot on. I sincerely believe that if I had hired a different attorney my board issue’s resolution would have been much more onerous in the requirements. Mario helped me with a social work license complaint that was unfounded. It is so upsetting to have a claim like this against you, but Mario was kind and reassuring throughout the whole process. He took prompt action and really went above and beyond. I hired Mario Mendoza to help me with a medical license issue that came up with my Wisconsin Medical License. Because I live out of state, it was difficult to work with the medical board. Very serious yet false allegations were filed against me with the Medical Board. When I asked two lawyers in different fields who I should have represent me, they both independently said Mario. I'm so glad they did! Mario listened to me, heard my concerns and wrote a detailed step by step plan defending me against each allegation. He made sure to include me in decision making and asked for my opinion and as there were various approaches he could take. Throughout the process Mario was always professional, courteous, and prompt with his replies to both me and the Medical Board. He encouraged me that things would be ok, and he was right. I was referred to Mr. Mendoza by a friend who had retained him a year before. I had accusations against my license that were untrue. However, a subsequent drug screen was performed that was positive for THC and I faced significant and unreasonable monitoring. Do not hire this firm! Linda was largely unprepared, did not have the details of the case straight, rescheduled every hearing on account of personal affairs (her vacation), overcharged for time, and could not produce a clear strategy.
