I wanted to write this review and recognize Attorney Joe Bugni and his assistant Trinity for their hard work and dedication in helping my wife and I. Navigating through the legal system can seem to be an overwhelming task. When my wife and I needed legal help we contacted Mr. Bugni for help. Mr. Bugni sat down with us, took notes, and devised a plan with his assistant Trinity on how best to address our situation. Mr. Bugni and Trinity talked to us like old friends, not attorney and clients, putting us very much at ease. As our case proceeded Trinity put together a timeline and outlined our case, so we could understand it. Trinity was always available and answered all questions we asked. Trinity and Mr. Bugni presented our case in terms that we could understand, which makes us feel better knowing what is happening. What can I say they promise the world but do less than nothing after you sign with them except drain your money.. frivolous billing for zero work. They won’t follow the direction of the client and make every excuse imaginable while billing crazy amounts of time. I even got billed for the initial interview I had with this firm. I had to reach out every time because why would they contact their client but had no issues sending me statements of my trust account getting drained… stay far away from place they’ll tell you anything you want to hear and they won’t deliver or even listen. I’m now months invested and money while being farther behind then before I walked in their doors. I’m glad I fired them today should’ve did it along time ago… I’ve met public defenders that had more knowledge. Thanks for wasting my time and money I personally don’t think they could even fix a parking ticket - the lawyer I had couldn’t.

I want to personally thank attorney Joe Bugni and his paralegal Trinity for helping a coworker of mine who I will reference as "NP". It was so difficult to watch this employee struggle with her happiness and act as if she wasn't stressed to the maximum (although she did do a good job hiding it but with knowing her personally I often saw her distant and distracted.). I know that until she met attorney Joe Bugni that she wasn't happy with another attorney from a different firm who did NOT care about this individual as a person--rather just money that was wasted on an attorney that did nothing to help at all...rather made it worse but that isn't what this review is about nor my story to tell. Joe and Trinity would check on NP and make sure she was doing well and taking care of herself mentally and physically. NP would be so distressed about her case situation because the attorney she had before wouldn't do anything to provide in assistance to get the case over with and now with Joe and Trinity on the case for NP they are doing more than the expected for NP. I am thankful Joe and Trinity actually work along and for the best outcome with NP. NP is getting back to the person I had met her as four years ago and is funny and energetic. NP is also able to sleep again and is getting healthy habits back thanks to Joe and Trinity. NP would come to work on some days and look tired and be frazzled because she felt lost...now with the good legal help that is being provided to NP she rests easier at night knowing that Joe Bugni has this covered for NP and her righteous that was once lost. I could go on and on and tell you how happy I am now to see my coworker being herself a little more each day since meeting Joe and Trinity but I will just end this by saying thank you on the behalf of all of us at our workplace.

This review is about attorney Joe Bugni. I was a client of his at a previous firm however I don't think someone's skills and qualities change over time so find it relevant to anyone considering retaining him at this firm. My case was very unique in that it was the first time the government had ever tried this particular nuclear terrorism statute. But that wasn't the only unique part about it, additionally, as was eventually admitted on record they also never had any evidence of any terroristic intent or intent to harm anyone. Joe saw the absolute injustice behind my prosecution and put his heart and soul behind it filing hundreds of pages of motions (I believe at the end there were around 300 filings) and constantly showing care and compassion as I was being held as a political prisoner. I never had an issue reaching him over the phone and he even came to visit me on Christmas showing an even more extreme level of care and compassion. In the end he was able to get the government to admit, on record, that there was never any evidence I ever posed any harm to anyone saving my reputation and allowing me to move on with my life without these false charges being held over my head in future endeavors. I eventually left Wisconsin and now live in California and run multiple businesses with numerous celebrity and Fortune 500 clients. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and passion shown by Joe Bugni, a dedication and passion I have complete confidence didn't change even though he's working at a different firm than when he represented me. Highly recommend!
