Mr Jasti got a traffic ticket dismissed for me that would have had a big impact on my insurance rates and points on my license. He took the time to talk to me on the phone and answer my many questions via email.

Murali was very helpful to us during this difficult time, and helped guide us through the judicial process that we were not at all familiar with. He was kind and attentive in person, and always responsive in our email correspondence. He has continued to check on our family member even after his sentencing and placement into the Wisconsin DOC system. I would highly recommend him for a criminal case. My 19-year old son got involved in a fight on the UW-Madison campus. He was arrested and charged with substantial battery (felony) and was facing a two year suspension from the university. I needed a really good criminal defense attorney to navigate this bad situation. I called several law firms to get some guidance and they all highly recommended Murali Jasti to handle the case. Murali acted fast to start improving the situation. He went to the Dane County Jail (on same day as initial phone call) and talked with my son. His expert knowledge of the legal system got my son an expedited initial hearing. This meant that my son only had to spend one night in jail (could have been 2-3 nights). Murali work diligently over the course of the legal proceedings (several months) to get my son the best possible outcome. In the end, Murali was able to get the criminal charge reduced to a misdemeanor battery and got my son into the Deferred Prosecution Program (a first offender program). This program allows my son to perform various activities (community service, alcohol abuse treatment, etc.) which upon completion allows the charge to be dismissed and removed from his permanent record. Murali also negotiated a case settlement with UW-Madison that resulted in a one year suspension (the university is tough on crime). I highly recommend Murali Jasti for the following reasons: - He genuinely cares about the client’s well-being and legal outcome. - Has extensive criminal defense attorney knowledge and experience. - Knows the Dane County legal system very well. He knows the judges, district attorney, assistant district attorneys and the inner workings of the District Attorney’s Office. - He is a good communicator and provided prompt responses via text, email and phone calls. This was very important for us since we live in California. We were able to do most of the legal proceedings remotely. - He kept us aware of all of the likely scenarios at different stages of the legal proceedings. This meant there were no surprises for us with regard to the outcomes, the timing of hearings and final decisions.
