Went to Lawton & Cates awhile ago to explain to them about a situation I was having with a car dealership. They reached out to me a couple of times, then they stopped communicating with me out of nowhere. No emails or calls back from them. If you really want to be represented and feel like you can trust a law firm. Please save yourself sometime and look else where.

I was referred to Lawton Cates for a workman's comp and possible personal injury claim. The initial intake went smoothly and I did get to speak with an attorney David Stegall that seemed up to the task and knowledgeable. I was told to wait until after my third surgery to call them back and they would get working on it. That is where this tale falls apart. I texted, called his cell, and left a message at the office for David - no response to any of my communication. If that is how they do trying to get your business, how will they perform under contract? Stay away

As a single mother with limited time to write reviews, I hope this speaks to how appreciative I am of Attorney Anne Scipior's help. It took me some time to find the right representation, beginning with an extremely green associate, then trying veterans in the field who charged top dollar yet still made mistakes. Anne was consistently professional, approachable, and upfront as I navigated a custody battle initiated by my son's father soon after my son was born. She educated me in layman's terms on the family court system and thoughtfully listened to my concerns without simply telling me what I want to hear. While I have recently decided to represent myself due to financial constraints, I am grateful she reversed my previous suspicion that everyone in family law is condescending or money-grubbing.

Mr Stingl 100% gave me back my life with my children. I was feeling down and done until he came thru and literally made my world what I never thought it could be. I now have the rightful custody of my children I deserve and I thank him, Cindy and Staff !!!!

Never called me back. I've seen their rating and they had some good ratings but unfortunately they didn't want to work with me. But it's ok. There's plenty of places out there that will probably help me. I'm disappointed. But life goes on...

David Stegall represented my father during a criminal case that was one of the most stressful times in my family's lives. There were biased and discriminatory charges made against him and the case should've never gotten to trial. David was there for our family every step of the way and never hesitated to spend as much time to guide and answer our questions as needed. Not once did I ever feel he was only concerned about his own financial compensation. Thanks to his competency and hard work, the jury clearly saw the evidence and returned a not guilty verdict. We are and will always be grateful to have had David represent us. Don't hesitate to give him a call as you won't find an attorney as dedicated anywhere else.

I have nothing but positive reviews for this law firm and Attorney True. Everyone is friendly and always got back to me quickly. Attorney True made it clear he cared about me and what was best for my family, even if it meant less involvement from him. He was always available whenever new issues would arrive and I never felt rushed along. I recommend him to everyone!
