I never even met with my attorney in person. I don't even know his last name. He was extremely argumentative with me whenever we spoke, almost to the point of being rude. He didn't seem to really want to negotiate on my behalf. It almost seemed like he was working more for the opposing side, than he was for me. He rarely answered my phone messages and emails. I believe that we could have negotiated for the amount that I was originally seeking, And I'm really not happy that we settled for what we did. I get it that it wasn't a monumental case, but it's still a permanent scar that I'll have to live with forever, along with the mental stress of being afraid now, every time I walk by any dog. This dog was supposed to be a replacement service dog for me, so it was even more traumatizing.
