Several calls to her office were rudely answered by her assistant. Did not answer the questions and repeated what I already knew. When I asked what the purpose of her services are _ " to lookout for the best interest of the client" okay please educate me to what the entails. " to look out for the best interest of the client". Great thank you for telling me what I already know. She is the worst attorney and has absolutely no business practicing law NOR being pushed on anyone from the Juneau County Court House. I will be lodging a formal complaint with the State Bar Association.

Rebecca was hired to be a representative and failed to fairly represent both sides. Due to initial bias judgement, was neglectful when provided important information and proof provided by the side she favored less.

I hired Rebecca to represent me in my divorce proceedings. It was clear from the beginning that she assumed that my case was, "just like all the others" and from the get go she was more interested in listening to the opposing counsel than me. The next attorney I hired to replace her confirmed that I was being completely under-represented and the differences in how they conducted business were stark. My next attorney helped me navigate the most challenging thing I have ever dealt with and I walked out of court knowing that I had won. Rebecca promised me that I would walk out of court feeling as though I had lost. She was very difficult to work with and my next attorney made things easy. Rebecca misled me and actually misrepresented my position out of spite after I challenged her on her conduct. Hiring her set me back on time and money and could have cost me custody of my children, which proved easy for my next attorney simply because I am a great father and just needed someone to represent me honestly. Rebecca was the wrong choice.

Attorney Bria Richards is an excellent attorney. She handled a very difficult situation in my custody case. She advised me open and honestly. Explained how the court looks at what's best for the child. In the end, my ex did himself in. And with her knowledge of the law my child and I are safe. I had to be patient, negotiate with my ex, let him violate the court order before she could get the end result.

Rebecca basically just wanted me to agree to everything my ex wanted. He was an alcoholic who let my kids drink and smoke pot at his house. Rebecca basically told me it wasn't worth fighting with my ex over custody. When his lawyer would request a change with custody and I disagreed, she would tell me I needed to agree because I was wasting my time. More like wasting my money... I certainly was paying her a lot of money to 'agree' with all of my ex's demands. I could have done that without a lawyer. I had better luck when I got rid of her and started dealing with the divorce myself. If you have an easy uncontested divorce, she is your lawyer, but if you have a custody battle ahead of you, find a better lawyer.

Rebecca helped me through some of the most difficult days of my life. She is truly an exceptional attorney whose genuine concern for her clients overall well being rises above the rest. She had my back and championed my best interests when I couldn't think clearly enough to do so for myself. I highly recommend that you choose to let her represent you.... and put your worries to rest.

I have worked with plenty of lawyers and she was awful. Rebecca was hired by the court to be my daughters guardian ad litem (my daughters court appointed lawyer who is supposed to represent my daughters best interest). I gave her reports of my ex-husbands tendency to try and sleep with underage girls as well as extensive history with drugs and domestic violence. She claimed his past didn't matter and refused to take any information I gave her into consideration. Then halfway through the court proceedings my ex was arrested for child enticement -sexual contact and possession of paraphernalia. Hmmmmm who was right??? Now I have a large bill and she refused to call me back since he was arrested (3 weeks ago), but she had 3 phone conferences with his family members (THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR) but doesn't call me back or any of my family members back. Rebecca has made it pretty clear she does not care for me much, but I would think that she would be professional enough to just represent my daughters best interest even if she thought me to be a little annoying just because I call her too much. HER DAD IS A SICKO AND ABUSES WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND ABUSES DRUGS and I am the childs mother of course I am going to call a lot, I don't want my daughter going back to her abusive father. My opinion may change if something else changes in the next few hearings but as of now I would highly recommend NO ONE HIRE THIS WOMAN!!!

I had hired her for divorce/custody. She was the worst lawyer I have ever dealt with. She does not care that children were abused or were exposed to domestic violence. She did not inform me about conversations with the GAL. Refused to listen and would not take anything you say into consideration..
