Just wanted to update you that … we went to the courthouse … and [child] is officially, legally adopted by Carol… Thank you thank you thank you so very much for all that you both did to help make this happen for us. [Child] is doing fabulous, an excellent swimmer on swim team, plays cello, clarinet, and choir, has a 4.0, and most importantly, her teachers all had wonderfully positive things to say about her attitude, her maturity, her leadership, and her happiness. She has come full circle, and we thank you so much for making a HUGE difference in her (and our) lives.

Attorney Wexler works primarily with families as a guardian ad litem assigned by courts or agreed upon by two parties and their attorneys. First of all let me say that she made recommendations that were completely in my favor so this review is not based on any bitterness I feel toward Atty Wexler.
Atty Wexler made multiple errors in my 4 months of working with her in what was an uncomplicated issue. Her written work contained spelling and grammatical errors, she used the wrong name in court, and even personally sent me an attachment with someone else's information. She billed for time it took her to correct her own errors and spoke unprofessionally about my ex to my attorney in my presence. While I agreed with her assessment of him, it was unnecessary and unprofessional.
I would not recommend Janice Wexler for anything beyond very simple, short-term work that does not involve the courts.
