Stay away from this attorney / lawyer . Very rude service . Bad personality. Beware this guy has a altitude problem !

Attorney Hayes is a great lawyer,he knows the law very well.I had a D.U.I. on 3/19/2019.He used the law to our advantage,I was very impressed and satisfied with the out come of my court appearance.The results were exactly what he said they would be. I would recommend attorney Hayes to anyone who needs a good lawyer for D.U.I. etc.

I got arrested for OWI in South Milwaukee in 2022, it was the third offense. I’ve never needed to hire an attorney before, so I was pretty lost and worried, and didn’t know what to do. I asked my mom to look for a lawyer, she called one in Madison, who gave her a list of 3 who worked in Milwaukee who were highly recommended. Michael was on the top of the list, so I called him and he was quick to get to work on my case, and instructed me clearly on everything I needed to do so I could get the best possible outcome before sentencing. He was easy to get ahold of, always quick to respond, and answered any questions I had, walking me through the whole process. Because of him, we were able to get the whole court process concluded in about 5 months (which is quick), and we did get the best possible outcome. I received a 3 month sentence when I was facing a maximum of 12 months, and got the minimum fine of $600 (maximum was $2000). Michael also helped me transfer the sentence to the county where I live and work, and be put on an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and continue working through Huber work release. Having never needed an attorney before, I was afraid it was going to cost me like $10,000 or more. His fees ended up being less than half of that; totally reasonable, especially given the outcome. I’m extremely lucky my mom was able to find him, and grateful for everything that he did for me, allowing me to leave this ugly chapter in my life behind and move forward. Also, after sentencing, he was even nice enough to help navigate my parents, who are not familiar with Milwaukee (nor good with directions or GPS), out of downtown, leading them to the interstate with his vehicle. And my mom is now his friend.

I can not be more thrilled with the outcome of my OWI (Operating Under the Influence) charge in Ozaukee County. My case was very complex and unique, and Mike Hayes was 100 percent committed to my defense. My case had started over two years ago, and we eventually reached the point of a jury trial. He did an unbelievable job in representing me at trial, and when the jury walked back into the room, it was a unanimous decision of NOT GUILTY. The verdict of NOT GUILTY was such a relief as this verdict is not common in Ozaukee County. I choose the right man for the job and I would highly recommend him for any traffic matter and especially any charge of Operating Under the Influence.

Attorney Hayes kept me up to date with everything I needed to have done before my court case, making this a walk in the park for me. He got me the best deal possible, despite the city of Milwaukee pushing for the maximum punishment, I served NO jail time and was out on electronic monitoring the same day I had to turn myself into the house of correction. I would give it a negative one but it would be removed . Most of the reviews are fake. Michael Hayes not only abandoned me at trial as soon as I made my last payment. I got limited service at best. If you want to be milked out of your money, and led in to taking a plea. He's your man. I hired him for a case I ended up winning myself without a lawyer.

A lawyer with passion such as Michael Hayes, is definitely a lawyer you want to have working for you. I am extraordinarily happy I was a client of Michael Hayes. My case is finally complete and is now a masterpiece among all the other masterpieces he has done before mine. I was really afraid my 3rd offense OWI case would result in lengthy incarceration, the milwaukee district attorney originally wanted 7 months, then changed the recommendation to 5 months of incarceration. Attorney Hayes was able to arrange in February 2021 for the case to be concluded with 7 days of incarceration in jail followed by 81 days on electronic monitoring at home, with the ability to go to work everyday also watch my children. He really knows how to minimize the impact of a case like this and I highly recommend attorney Hayes.

In July 2021, Attorney Michael Hayes got a complete dismissal of my Milwaukee County Freeway Second Offense OWI charge after he successfully represented me at a motion hearing challenging the right of the deputy to stop my car. The judge ruled no probable cause, which led to complete dismissal of the criminal operating under the influence case. Great result. Great guy to work with. Highly recommended.
