While searching for criminal defense attorneys in Milwaukee I came to realize there was quite a selection. While there are older, more established lawyers, I felt most comfortable at Meyer Van Severen. Matt made me feel like my family member's case was a top priority and you could tell he genuinely cared about the outcome. Matt was always available to answer any questions I had regarding the case even if it wasn't during regular office hours. I cannot say enough about Conner Helvig he is amazing and actually cares. He will be honest with you and responds SAME DAY! He doesn't give you the run around. For the past few months there were maybe 2 times I had to wait to speak to him. Majority of the time it's same day. He represented me extremely professionally. He has a great court presence (though that may be because he's so tall) when he talks people listen. I hope everyone hires him if they ever need a good lawyer. He will fight for you. The attorney who represented me was Emma Guthrie. She had represented me in the past for a separate matter, but dealing with the same person. Emma might be young but, she is wise beyond her years. She is very detail oriented and thorough with her work. Emma is polite, but she is a straight shooter when she needs to make her point. You cannot go wrong if you choose Emma to represent you. I would recommend her to any family members, or friends for legal council.

My attorney Conner Helvig did a great job for me. Very prompt responding to emails and kept me informed of every step. I live in another state and he saved me multiple trips of coming back to Wisconsin to settle my case.
