I hired Greg Hildebrand as my lawyer when my husband filed for divorce. I had done significant research and spoke with other lawyers before deciding. My husband has a complicated pension through the City of Milwaukee that required expertise that not every lawyer has. I chose Greg for his professionalism, knowledge, skill and mediator background. The mediator background was important to me to be able to make this process as amicable and painless as possible, while still having someone looking out for my best interests. While my situation did not end in divorce, but rather reconciliation, I feel it is important to leave a review. Greg and his team did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations! I hired Erin Idler of Hansen & Hildebrand S.C. to get a divorce this past year and am very glad I chose Erin and H&H to help me through this difficult process. From the initial consultation with her in March of 2023 to the day of my hearing in March of 2024 Erin was incredibly professional- responsive and timely with all phone calls and email correspondence, as well as courteous and compassionate when difficult negotiation situations arose in my case. She helped me make an informed decision on how to best finalize the Marriage Settlement Agreement to ultimately get the best results for both sides and to save in legal fees by finalizing the divorce sooner rather than later which was also much appreciated!! Following the hearing Erin sent out a "post-divorce check list" which I found very helpful since I am going back to my maiden name and will be beginning the name changing process soon, and there are lots of steps to consider beyond just changing your S.S. card and drivers license. She also offered a free Zoom conversation to wrap up any lingering legal concerns I may have had and I appreciated that as well. Divorce is something that I would not wish on my worst enemy, and Paul helped to make the process bearable. He was very communicative and clear in terms of several things.
