I can't say enough about Tom Hochstatter and his team (specially Ruth Ingraham)! Total professionalism as well as caring. My husband Kevin and I had to go through the process of coming back to the US after living and having been married abroad; Tom and Ruth helped us so much and made the process much more simple. For us, Tom has been the perfect blend of caring, accommodating and professional. We highly recommend him!!!

Originally, I contacted Thomas via email explaining that my husband's immigration situation was complicated and that we really needed to speak to a lawyer to see what our options were. During a free consultation over the phone, Thomas convinced us that he could advise us on exactly what to do. He clearly stated how much it would cost to take the case and do all the work himself, but he also offered to act as an advisor. Considering our slim budget and imminent relocation, we opted to take Thomas on as our advisor. With only 1 hours consultation, Thomas gave his recommendation and told my husband what paperwork would need to be completed. We did exactly as we were told and with my husband's keep attention to detail with the paperwork and dates, our transition was smooth and easy. You can really tell that Thomas cares and does his best to get you what you need at the lowest cost.

Tom was a tremendous help in securing permanant residence stautus for my wife. He and Ruth Ingram(paralegal) kept us informed through the whole process . I could not have asked for better representation. They were were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend his firm. I am extremely grateful for all of their assitance.

At first, I thought that Mr. Hochstatter was taking care of my case. Then, other lawyer from his firm took my case over (they did not notify me). They asked me to pay the both lawyers' bills, but refused to sign their names on my immigraion documents as my lawyers. When I asked him the reason why they did not sign the documents, he mentioned that he did not want to be responsible for my case. Thus, when I re-entered to the U.S., an immigration officer said that I broke a law. I said to the officer that I hired immigration lawyers for my case. The officer said that lawyers do anything as long as you pay. I am not famliar with immigration law, so hired him as an immigration lawyer and followed him steps by steps. At the end, I regret hiring him and would not recommend this lawyer.

I have used Tom's services for my naturalization case. His intimate knowledge of all aspects of this process was extremely useful. Both the application and the process overall was clear and well defined. I felt very confident and prepared for the interview.

Mr. Hochstatter handled the marriage visa and green card application for my wife. I found him responsive, personable, kind, attentive, and endowed with an excellent sense of humor. Our application process was complicated, daunting, and fraught, but he helped us out enormously with the process, and I believe that he saved us years of waiting in separation.
