Did an amazing job with my case can’t recommend him enough!

Good honest person

I was always kept up to date on what was going on with the case. And in the end was offered a plea that dropped everything to exactly what I wanted Walter was a extremely nice guy and so was his assistant I highly recommend.

I want to start off by Thanking Walter for his professionalism and relentlessness over the years...I have used walter on multiple accounts for multiple different cases he Never once! Recommend me to take a deal always made sure I was satisfied with what ever offer Was given.... In the most recent situation Walt was able to negotiate a felony Charge that could have affected me for a lifetime to be dismissed.... I have used other lawyers but never once have I had someone that was willing to fight to make sure I was 100% satisfied with their  Representation.. The Piel Law Office is professional, knowledgeable and caring. They handled my case in a timely manner with keeping me informed every step of the way. I was never left guessing for what was to come. Where do I start mr piel knows what he’s doing for sure he does his homework very well and is very knowledgeable and will be straight forward with and to the point! I was charged with an OWI (3rd) and was appointed a Public Defender to represent me. I soon realized he was only interested in moving on to his next case; the only conversations we had were as to how much jail time I was willing to accept in a plea bargain. I knew I might have a defense but could tell he wasn't interested in pursuing it, or putting in the effort to take my case to trial. In desperation, only 6 weeks before my trial date, I met with Attorney Piel in his Watertown office. Even before I retained him I was very impressed with his knowledge, enthusiasm, and general concern for me and the outcome of my case. I immediately hired him and within days he had obtained police reports, dash cam and surveillance videos, witness statements, and a plethora of other information to assist in our defense. We met several times (at his request) to review and discuss the case, and to answer any and all questions I may have. I felt very comfortable and confident meeting with him and talking to his wife Connie who helped coordinate and expedite other tasks and responsibilities. Fast forward to our day in court: Attorney Piel was creative, charismatic, and convincing. He owned the courtroom. I was so proud to have him represent me. After 9 hours of testimony (audio, video, two police officers, one witness, and one "expert" (all subpoenaed by the Prosecution)) we ended up WINNING; found NOT GUILTY after an award winning closing arguement by Attorney Piel. Without a doubt, I would be in jail today if it weren't for this man.

I cannot make this up the most professional and well worth it Walt will give you results I was toast and this man saved me. Walt made it to where two cases dismissed and not guilty we WON!!!!. His wonderful assistant Connie are amazing in fact so good I hired them again. Highly recommend their services this firm knows what to do.
