Kathryn helped me out tremendously during my divorce and just recently helped me with other issues steaming from my divorce. She is kind and does everything she can to help her clients out. I know if I ever need anything, I will hire her again.

My children’s father was an abusive, alcoholic and as narcissistic as they come! And I just knew I needed to hire an attorney because him and his equally narcissistic attorney would fight me, and I only know so much about my rights. Even though he’s now a convicted felon from a DA charge between us. So the cards were more than in my favor, but lots of back and forth for no reason other than to fight against Kathryn and I. But she fought back when needed and said the things that needed to be said! I am more than happy with the outcome of my court case with my ex. If it wasn’t for Kathryn, I wouldn’t have had someone fighting for my rights as a mother making the best decisions for her children! Don’t hesitate to hire Kathryn one bit! If I should ever need a family law attorney again (hopefully not!) she will be one I call on in a heart beat!

I hired Kathryn as my divorce attorney. It was one of the best decisions I made and I am extremely happy with the outcome. My ex was trying to take advantage of me at every opportunity. Kathryn fought and defended me as if I was part of her family. She got a fraudulent MSA tossed out. She filed a ex parte to protect my assets and make sure I received the proceeds from the sale of my house. She made sure that I understood the law and what I am entitled to. Anytime I inquired about something, she promptly responded with the information I requested and more to make sure I fully understood. Kathryn was amazing! From day one she was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained options, the legal system and helped us with all the legal jargon as we moved through the system. She was also very easy to get a hold of and incredibly timely in her responses and always available to us. Working with her during this difficult process made things smooth and seamless. Kathryn filled in for my attorney at my first court date. Which had me very nervous & concerned. However with only speaking to Kathryn over the phone, the day before my court date. Navigating the process of a divorce is a daunting challenge as most people have never been in this type of life-changing situation. Fortunately for me I had Kathryn Potratz assigned to my case. From the beginning she was extremely organized and did an excellent job laying out a road map showing how the process was going to work and what each step entailed. Kathryn was very receptive of the massive amount of questions I had for her and answered them in a timely manor. There were several times I needed to make a decision and did not know which way to go. Kathryn laid out all of the information and explained her recommendation based on her experience and what would be the best outcome for me and my child. Based on my specific case I'm sure down the road I'll need to go back to court to update the Marriage Settlement Agreement. When that time comes I will only be calling Kathryn. Her professional demeanor and thoroughness helped me get through this process and allowed me to have a positive outlook on the next chapter in my life.

I hired attorney Kathryn P. to help me with my divorce case. I had spoken to other lawyers beforehand but none of them really explained things thoroughly like she did to me. We mostly spoke through e-mail and her responses were fairly quick, as well as always asking me if I needed any clarification on any paperwork sent over / questions in general. If I needed to talk over the phone with her she provided me all the tools necessary to do so. I would hire her again in the future, hopefully not for the same issue as this time though.
