Working with Underwood Legal was an incredible experience. We're a couple in our mid-30s, with a young son, and came to Underwood to establish an estate plan and wills. We had no idea what to expect with this being our first round of writing this paperwork, and we were expertly cared for every step of the way. We're thrilled with our final plan and its presentation and will absolutely be using Matthew and Chong for future legal work over the course of our lives. Highly recommend.

We are so happy with our experience at Underwood Legal! The team at Underwood Legal walked us through the entire process of setting up a trust, clearly outlined all the options, and made us feel really comfortable throughout. We are newbies to anything legal and Matt made sure we understood everything before signing any documents. We were nervous to talk about anything "upon our death" but Matt helped us realize how important it is to do this for our kids and family. The process was surprisingly easy. Options to meet virtually and in person. We had a total of 3 sessions to talk about specifics and the official signing. Our favorite part is, at the end Chong informed us that we are Officially Adults now :)

From the first meeting, Matthew put my parents at ease, respectfully listening to their specific needs, clearly explaining complex legal structures, and encouragingly answering their many questions. He prepared their tailored estate documents quickly and precisely, adding many provisions to protect my parents and the family, and answered all our questions promptly. (One day I sent him 27 detailed questions and he sent me comprehensive replies within a few hours.) Through the entire process, he made us feel as though we were his highest priority, and he took as much care with my parents as I imagine he would take with his own. I was grateful for this compassion. Matthew is an intelligent lawyer and a genuinely kind person. Working with him was a joy. My family highly recommends him.
