William Hammett and his staff is second to none.. very kind and courteous and will help you and your situation in anyway that's possible. he is very knowledgeable of the laws of todays time. if I needed a divorce lawyer again he would be the one I would go to...

From the first phone call through the entire 18 month process Bill Hammett was professional, supportive and helpful. He helped make a miserable process the best it could be. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a divorce attorney to use Bill. There is nothing I was not satisfied with during the divorce process. In addition his paralegal, Ellen was outstanding. She was thorough and communicated timely to ensure I was never surprised. Together they did an amazing job. Highly recommended.

Before hiring an attorney, I thoroughly investigated all divorce lawyers within a 100-mile radius of Green Bay. My intention was to hire someone with expertise and experience specific to divorce law. To my surprise, I found someone in close proximity who has an outstanding reputation. Attorney William J Hammett with HBO law offices was selected to “Super Lawyers” from 2008-2015 as one of the top divorce and family law attorneys in the State of WI and, upon reading his clients’ reviews, I knew I wanted him to represent me. Bill’s vast knowledge of divorce law put me at ease almost immediately. Personally, I can attest to his honesty and integrity as a law professional. Many details of this process were initially quite overwhelming. Bill could sense my frustration and patiently answered ALL of my questions; my concerns and worries were quickly alleviated. What impressed me most was the step-by-step approach he used to convey the divorce process in terms I could understand. His actions and personality were highly professional both in and out of the courtroom. I have a great deal of respect for Attorney Hammett and am very satisfied with the outcome of my divorce. His legal assistant, Ellen, was absolutely wonderful too.

My situation is similar to Michael’s who posted a comment on Aug. 3rd. Bill handled my divorce and almost yearly I’ve been back in court for more child support. Bill does not break or bend the law, but he does support your case in your benefit. To this day my support has not increased due to Bill and his staff’s support. I can’t commend or provide a higher recommendation for Bill and his firm. They are all true professionals in every sense of the word and all are great “real” people. I am a current client of Attorney Bill Hammett. After being divorced for four and a half years, I was being taken back to court by my ex for child support before my child turned 18. When I needed to ask questions or had concerns, every phone call and email was answered in a timely manner. He listened to all of my concerns, I never felt like he did not care about my situation.
