When I retired for medical reasons, my Long Term Disability company refused to give me any LTD benefits. To the cynics; large corporations are in business to pay their stockholders quarterly dividends, and they can't pay as large a dividend if they're giving money away to their clients. My LTD company stalled and ignored any inconvenient (for them) details in my doctors' records, and me as well, with equal facility for 9 months. Covington assisted with a claim against my employer regarding a cancer/seizure disorder. Covington was very empathetic and understanding.
