Wish I would have known Chris' ethical "challenges" before hiring him. Even for a lawyer, this guy is sub-par. And that's putting it kindly. When other lawyers frown on you, its very telling.
He was totally unprepared for my court date. He fumbled and bumbled and struggled to remember details. Imsure I would have done a better job relating the facts of the details myself.
In addition it looked like he just rolled out of bed in his suit. Complete with sneakers. Absolute joke. It was embarassing both to hear and watch this "lawyer" ply his trade.
Needless to say, things didn't turn out as I'd hoped.
I immediately fired Chris after my court date and hired a competent lawyer.
Highly NOT recommend.
In addition, anyone looking to hire Chris should look up the laundry list of disciplinary actions against him. For someone that vaunts his morals his public record stands squarely against him.

Do not hire Christopher. Tried to make me take a plea without going through discovery. Came unprepared to every hearing. Just took my money and I was the one who had to put in the work. He will be sued soon! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT HIRE CARSON LAW! Absolute worse! He has a bad track record. Save yourself and your money and do not hire Christopher Carson.

Chris knew that I was being railroaded by the “justice system”, and he also knew that my Nursing License was on the line should said charges stick and result in convictions. He made absolutely no effort to fight on my behalf, took my money though and then indicated that I really had no chance of winning a trial and essentially forced me into a plea “deal” that any public defender could’ve done, and possibly even have done better!! Don’t waste your money and throw away your rights or your future! He’s not in the practice of ethical criminal defense, that’s for sure!

I hired Mr. Carson just two weeks prior to a sentencing hearing for my fiancée who was facing a pretty hefty sentence. He not only got the sentenced reduced, but with the limited time he had to prepare following the conviction; he laid the foundation for very strong argument for appeal. So much so that I have decided to re-hire him for the appeal as well. He always follows up with me in a timely manner and displays integrity and sincerity on each encounter. I have already referred him to others based upon his diligence in how he is handling our case.

I was in the middle of a terrible divorce from an abusive spouse diagnosed with several mental illnesses (sociopath). I had been dropped by my previous attorney, being told that they did not have time for my spouses games and tricks or his difficult attorney. Chris took my case when others did not want to touch it. He was able to get things done. I don't believe that anyone could have made things go faster. He explained my options to me, listened to me, tried to be creative against the crazy arguments coming from the other side, and most of all, fought for me. He stood up for me in court, with confidence. He understood my position, and had compassion. I wish I had found him in the beginning. It would have been an easier job for him. As it happened, he took a really messed up case, and saved my life. Thank you, Chris.

Although Chris represented me over 2 yrs ago I write this after being directed here because it was tagged with my current attys. I was jailed due to alleged Supervision violations. My daughter contacted him to represent me in the Revocation Hearing. Before my daughter provided the fee he responded to her within hours. After the fee was paid she had a VERY difficult time getting hold of him.
He spoke with me one time via the regular visitors video which has a time limit. Our time abruptly ended leaving me with questions and uneasiness. I explained this to my daughter(who is very diligent) and she attempted to inform Chris. She did not receive a response from him before my hearing. I spent many nervous days feeling like I was going into the arena totally alone and unprepared. I had no idea if Chris was even gong to attend.
The day came. I was summoned to the hearing room. No Chris. Just at the time the hearing was scheduled to start Chris appeared. I gave him a 'what's happening' look/comment. He asked the Law Judge if he would excuse himself so he could speak with me. The judge did so with the comment, 'you should have spoken to your client before, not at the time this hearing is scheduled to start.'
Clearly the Judge was put out. We talked very briefly.
I feel he totally ignored my unease and left me to endure many days of anguish by not responding to my daughters pleas. It felt like my case was just a quick stop in, that he was unprepared. Even that could have been forgiven if he had just responded to my daughter, acknowledged he heard that I was needing to speak with him. But he didn't.
After seeing other negative posts on here and seeing Chris's responses I expect him to say something is wrong with my memory or I am distorting facts. Please see I am stating the facts as they happened and how his lack of contact(..ONE... 30 minute video visit which was cut off in midsentence) left me emotionally drained. I leave it to others to read this, see his response and decide for themselves.
Outcome: I was revoked for 2 yrs. However I did appeal this with Chris and the time was reduced to 1 year. But the distress over his lack of contact and unpreparedness for the initial hearing stays with me as well as wondering what the initial outcome might have been if we had discussed things. Surely my unease would have been much less, as well as my daughters had he responded to her/me after receiving his money.

Christopher Carson brings not only his extensive legal experience but also his vast knowledge of history to each case. This enables him to draw upon an additional perspective when defending his clients...He doesn't repeat the same mistakes which other colleagues have made in the past. Confidence and the ability to put the client in a position of that same confidence of positive results...even before going to court.

Attorney Chris Carson helped me on a very scary case in 2005 and is helping me now. He is professional, caring, warm; and knowledgeable. I would trust only him to defend me in any court; in any case against me.

This lawyer did everything he said he'd do, and more. He took a personal interest in my case, but also my life and recovery. He called my treatment provider and worked with him to make sure I was doing well. Chris was always helpful with ideas and answers to my many questions. He's busy, but I'm happy with the result.

Chris really helped me get out of a lot of trouble. The district attorney wanted to send me to prison for drunk driving, but Mr. Carson got that case dismissed because the police had no probable cause to arrest me in the first place. Seeing him in action, it made me want to be a lawyer.
