Her and her staff met our every need and explained everything we needed to know and understand to provide mom and the estate a clearer path forward to help the family better care for Mom.

I attended a free estate planning workshop in March of 2018 that attorney Joanne Leifheit offers at her office in Pewaukee Wisconsin. Participants were able to ask questions that Joanne listed on the board and patiently answered. It was most informative. Joanne also told stories that spoke to her depth of understanding and legal experience. We were given a folder with a questionnaire to complete prior to a consultation with Joanne. I met with Joanne individually at the end of March to discuss my need for a Will and Power of Attorney for Finances and Property. In April of 2018 I signed my Will and Power of Attorney at Joanne’s office. I was nervous because it is not easy to get these legal matters in order. Joanne and her team make it a comfortable experience and you have confidence she has given you good legal advice. The office is organized and efficient. It has a homey environment with tea, coffee, pie at the workshop, bird feeders outside the windows, and is a great location in Pewaukee. When my mother subsequently passed away 2 years after the documents were implemented, I was able to avoid paying unnecessary taxes on her estate and without the requirement of appearing in probate court. Implementation of the trust also eased the inheritance distribution process. When my mother's house sold shortly after her death, Attorney Leifheit expedited interactions with the realtor, county court house, and title company. In addition to the above skills, she has integrity, is dependable and has a thorough attention to details. My husband and I hired Attorney Joanne Leifheit after hearing her estate planning presentation at a seminar planned by our credit union. We hired her because of her professionalism, easy to relate to style and her kind and compassionate demeanor. Upon our initial in-office consultation regarding estate planning, we knew Atty.
