I recommend this firm, and particularly attorney Kristin Cafferty, highly. After sustaining an injury from an attack by an unrestrained dog, I made an inquiry as to their willingness to support my claim for damages. I was contacted that same day by a live human who was able to quickly grasp the facts and assign me to a lawyer with dog attack experience. Within days, Ms. Cafferty had met with me in person and agreed to represent me. She spent a great deal of time and effort in establishing facts and pursuing witness statements at no cost to me. I was, and still am, extremely angry at the fact that I must have an operation to be able to walk without pain, but talking the situation though with Ms. Cafferty had a calming effect on me and ultimately helped me accept the hard truth that she was unable to take the case forward due to the fact that the dog's owner lacked insurance or other assets to pay me. Although I certainly hope that I never have cause to need legal representation in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to contact this firm again if the need arises, and I recommend Ms. Cafferty's services without qualification. She truly does care about victims and, in fact, is currently working on getting Wisconsin legislature to address the very real need for laws to help people injured by careless dog owners who don't take responsibility for their dogs' actions and lack insurance to pay for the damage their animals cause.
