I chose Reid Buchinger at Hawley, Kaufman, &Kautzer after consulting with 3 attorneys for a family matter, custody & placement. 4 reasons: 1.Thorough, he really listened to me. 2.Expediant, very prompt in his communication. 3.Informative, sharing his thought pattern & game plan without having to pull teeth to get info and extra details. 4.Calm integrity, (a)he passed the test I gave him by purposefully pushing his buttons and being demanding on second one of meeting him at my consult, (simply over details of what exactly I was signing and what it meant, just for the consult, not even yet to hire him). I highly recommend Reid & Kim both. Kim added much personal professionalism to some of my anxieties and concerns throughout the process, as well as being thorough and prompt. (b)They were both very aware in their handling of me that I had serious lawyer PTSD from something previous to this and unrelated to them. *Their professional awareness and integrity in how they treated me is priceless, and has earned them a loyal client, should I ever need a lawyer in the future.

Attorney Ryan Kautzer was extremely helpful, succinctly clarified key points other lawyers failed to elucidate.

A lawyer is hired to represent you in the courts no matter the charges and ryan kautzer is not that guy. This “lawyer” did nothing but make me feel more insecure about the process of my case. He claimed that he received and looked over the body cam footage of the night that my charges occurred and I later found out that he never even asked for said footage. After paying someone $10,000 to give me a fair chance in court I would expect more. This man was excited about the opportunity of a plea deal that included 5 years prison and multiple years of probation. After telling him time and time again that I was not interested in anything close to this offer he never once made me feel that he knew anything about what was happening in my case. I finally decided to fire kautzer due to him not putting any effort in my case whatsoever. I thank god that I made this decision to fire someone that I gave $10,000. I hired Casey Hoff and finally felt that I was truly cared for and represented the way I should have been from day one!!! At the conclusion of my case after hiring Casey I was sentenced to no prison time and am a citizen that contributes to society everyday!! If you want to be represented and cared for don’t hesitate and hire CASEY HOFF! Don’t make the mistake that I did.
